Are you sure? I've just tested it and it works as it should.astralpen wrote: Fri May 19, 2023 11:20 am Thank you. I can now Trigger using MIDI notes. However, even when set to Free, the transport now Triggers as well.

Hi AT\folks, please check if "Trip Phase" (in Trip section) parameter does works.
Can't reproduce some impact from this.

Trip Phase works only when Trip section is in Sync and in Pendulum mode. It changes the starting point of the modulation, so when you hit playback in your DAW it will start from the point you set in Trip Phase.c_voltage wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2024 9:16 pm Hi AT\folks, please check if "Trip Phase" (in Trip section) parameter does works.

Oh i see, with transport playback yes, works, thanks.audiothing wrote: Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:45 pm Trip Phase works only when Trip section is in Sync and in Pendulum mode. Perhaps as request - would be good to have ability to use Trip' start point without transport too. Considering "instant generate" genre of device.
I mean, when i set main Selector to certain desirable sounding position, and now want to slightly modulate about this position (by preliminary decrease Trips Speed near to minimum), then enabling Trip always shift Selector to unpredictable position.
Maybe there is some trick for solve this ? (again, without transport).

I see, well right now the sync happens when playback starts because the phase should be locked to the transport position. I'll see if I can adjust that to control it even when not in playback and then revert to proper sync when playback starts.c_voltage wrote: Sun Sep 29, 2024 12:10 am Oh i see, with transport playback yes, works, thanks.

Ok tnx (in rest, really tasty device).audiothing wrote: Tue Oct 01, 2024 9:11 am I see, well right now the sync happens when playback starts because the phase should be locked to the transport position. Oh sorry update (missed somehow) - need clarify a bit - example behavior what i described - this is not supposed to be in the sync mode, ie it not necessary. This problem relevant for non sync state too.
In other words, this should works independently either active transport or not.

Is there way to trigger playback by note? It looks like it's either running free or starts/stops via DAW transport. A few more trigger modes might be cool. Like play a loop of each slot separately or a legato mode between the slots controlled by note input. That way one could better control what it is doing and when it happens. I also think a lock for trigger mode would be useful. (perhaps already possible, RTFM)
More modulation and effects (maybe granular) would be nice as well.
How about sub folder support for banks or at least a switch to select factory/user or something like that and its own path for user banks.

Yes, it's possible to trigger Noises via MIDI, just set Trigger button to off and play notes.mi-os wrote: Sun Oct 06, 2024 9:51 am Is there way to trigger playback by note? Yeah, it might be better to have subfolders for banks, but not sure if it's going to be easy considering the current architecture.

Thanks, right. I'd also like to trigger each slot separately by MIDI notes. That way it would be possible to create a custom TRIP in the DAW. The only problem is that pitch tracking is then lost or must be done another way, maybe by keyswitching between the slots or using just the pitch wheel for pitch.

Unfortunately, that's not possible, as turning the big dial cross-fades between 2 slots, so triggering single slots won't work with the current architecture.mi-os wrote: Mon Oct 07, 2024 2:43 pm Thanks, right. Sure, but what about a legato mode? It shouldn't be much different from orchestral libraries, just with a simple x-fade transition instead of recorded legato samples.audiothing wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 3:32 pmUnfortunately, that's not possible, as turning the big dial cross-fades between 2 slots, so triggering single slots won't work with the current architecture.mi-os wrote: Mon Oct 07, 2024 2:43 pm Thanks, right.
