Am (Aeolian), F (Lydian), Dm (Dorian), Bb (Lydian). Most of the chord progression is functional, then the last chord (and its respective mode) briefly challenges it in a soft manner. I have only heard this in video game music so far.

I can play. Lately I keep going back to pedaling a root while playing a dom7th chord at the root and then down a whole step. Moody.
