It seems like a perfectly flexible shimmer reverb. Most others don't give full access to the granular (or pitch shifting if it's using a different method) bits. I often set things like this up in Reaktor and Mturboverb and the bitwig reverb's "tank" insert. I'll definitely give it a demo.

How long does Tal usually run the intro discounts?

Typically, until the incessant and maddening demo white noise culminates in infinite tinnitus

Oh come on, the white noise is not that bad and it's not nearly as frequent as noise bursts/silences in a lot of other demos.

Yeah, the reverb itself isn't bad but it's the side dish to the main course of granular. And you can do a wide range of fun stuff with the granular and the other tools built in. The only downside I've found so far is the filter/EQ isn't exposed as parameters to the host, so I can't slap an LFO or a MIDI controller onto cutoff frequencies. But it's still very fun.

already have intermittent tinnitus so not an issue. i'm guessing the discount runs at least until after the giveaway/contest is done?audiouser720 wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2024 7:07 pmTypically, until the incessant and maddening demo white noise culminates in infinite tinnitus

Yeah it's wonderful. So many options. Everything is really responsive and exceptionally well laid out.
Patrick is very open to changing things post release. Hopefully we'll see the EQ exposed to the host in a future update.
The TAL users group on Facebook seems very active so any kinds of requests for features get to him there.
