Still no output gain in the new version? It was asked so many times...multree wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 2:20 am I just tried using the LINEAR PHASE mode in Equal and this seems to be completely broken. sometimes the button to switch it on is gone altogether but most of the time it mutes either both channels or just one of them....

internal? no.... external? supposedly although I can't make it work.
Maybe I'm stupid but I thought that if I select for example the kick track as an external side chain in one of the comps, that the kick track would have an effect on the compression but it doesn't seem to....

I mean internal sidechain filter. Just like the Arturia one has.multree wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 9:49 aminternal? no.... external? supposedly although I can't make it work.

Don‘t know the arturia one, but several T-RackS comps have internal sidechain filters (you can use to exclude low frequencies from the detection and hence let them pass through less affected). The Precission Comp/Limiter however does not. The BusComp does and so does the DynaMu and others as well.Igro wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 12:04 pmI mean internal sidechain filter. found some more bugs....
the fade shapes in the standalone version are mixed up
and the automation section mentioned in the manual seems to be missing completely (which would be a shame if they left it out)

Help please,
I got TRacks 5 max.
I also have almost all of the Fabfilter products.
I've been using the FF stuff exclusively for a while now and am quite happy
Is TRacks 6 the same old stuff with a new skin, or are there marked improvements?

Same, with a handful of new additions you may or may not need. The compressors were updated with side chain support.

which doesn't seem to work (at least for me)
so yeah it's basically T-RackS5 with resizable GUI and some new plug-ins (the spring one is nice as is the delay. master match is also cool but was already nice before)
so if you haven't used T5 I doubt T6 will change that.

and since I just noticed that the position/mic/size selector in FAME Studio Reverb stopped working altogether after "upgrading" to V6 I think staying on V5 might currently be the better idea anyway...

Yep, this is what I figured with this new version.
Thanks

seems the same old stuff they do, IKM is one of the worst companies i encountered.
their plugins are for me always kinda buggy, laggy, sometimes even high on CPU, they also changed for example the whole sound of CSR vs TR5 Hall, they never fixed it. i had/have so many projects and cannot get the old reverb sound anymore (i replaced their crap!) as they didnt let me activate my old Tracks 3 licenses anymore. one of the worst online Copy protection as well. Tracks 5 is also buggy and laggy, never touched it again anymore. all replaced with Fabfilter!
i did many A/B comparisons and the analog marketing is in my opinion mostly just blabla, maybe you hear some differences slightly i didnt hear them and adjusted my settings with Fabfilter Plugins. rock steady and superb support!
IKM couldnt even resolve 3 issues, their conversion from old Sampletankk to new versions, some presets in the new versions sound totally different etc. and etc. and when i wrote support i had 3 different guys and they asked me the same stuff over and over... i gave up then and mored forward.
one of their cheapest tactics is throwing in free plugins and try to bind you to their bloatware . guess it still works.

Martin Lind did CSR for IK originally, so they might not even know how to fix it.

Confirmed that the selector doesn't work. It moves but the sound processing doesn't change. There are graphic issues with the plate/spring in Sunset Sound. The Spring graphic is low resolution, and they all contain the 360 icon. The reverb doesn't work in Space Delay. The parameter names in Bass One don't match those in the manual.

Is T-Racks 6 able to open my existing T-Racks 5 project files (in case I have to re-master old tracks in the future)?
