I couldn't drop wav files into the arrangement! I was using Reaktor groove box, so I recorded the output and tried to drop it into a new audio track, but there is nothing on the track.
Anyway, after a quick search, I found I need to tick the "run as administrator" in the shortcut (or exe file)! Now, every time I run S1 it asks me if I allow S1 ... etc.
No other DAW needs this, so why they don't fix this in S1? or there is some other solution to allow audio files to be dropped into the arrangement?
On Windows, among these DAWs: Cubase, S1, Bitwig, AB Live, Reason, FL Studio and Reaper. Abelton Live 12 is the best overall in ease of use, clean interface and simplicity. It is not perfect and lacks some features from other DAWs, but I can see now the reason of its popularity. I think because it is fast to come with results without losing the focus.
Whatever! We are so spoiled now it seems! It is always that the grass is greener somewhere else!
Why did you leave Studio One?
