if it is true that they dont update their plugins then yes, i saw their plugins seem to be normally priced around 100 bucks and so on and on sales 10-20 bucks, i dunno. but yeah i didnt know they exist so long now, so maybe an exception with a rapid price fall.vitocorleone123 wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2024 5:11 amRight on. They have been around for several years and are well respected for their DRC and FRMS, which just sound great. They also providing some of the best Sound - Design Tutorials around on their Youtube.

but its not true. I bought VS a couple of years ago, when it was at 1.1.0 and there have been several updates since then; its now at 1.5 which only came out a couple of months ago.

Well when they say they don't plan to address the phantom modulation source for SEQ in FRMS except in a new product, and haven't even made it VST3 or Apple Silicon native despite the site claiming you get 'Lifetime updates' and it's been on 1.10 for yonks doesn't suggest a firm commitment to updating stuff - maybe VS is their main focus - for FRMS they seem to be happy to pump out add-on content packs but just not update it in any substantial way

I have all their stuff and I'm happy with it. For the price I don't see how any of this matters if you're intrigued. It's not like you'll be building your live set around it probably regardless (and if you are, why are you using apple that will break half your software every two years or so).
Their packs sync between platforms for example which I find extremely refreshing.

new update to FRMS 1.11.0
the new version messed up sizing of the plugin, quite weird behavior on my pc
i reinstalled FRMS 1.10.0
i have no problems with that version and it's a cracking synth

Good to know thanks. Also, since there is an iOS version, does that mean if you use that in logic for iPad, that when you open that project on logic for Mac, that FRMS will load in desktop?nordickvr wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 11:58 amIt runs as Apple Silicone native.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 11:51 am Site now says it’s vst3. Does FRMS allow drag and drop of samples from a DAW into FRMS?
If less is more, imagine how much more MORE will be.
