Hi.
It would be nice if we could make multi-selections in the progression browser and have them all drag into the Master Track together, concatenated one right after the other.
(Currently, the first item in the multi-selection will drop onto the MT and the others are discarded.)

Here is an even more ambitious goal. I know I would be able to make good use of this.
This is a mock-up of what could potentially be the result of a one-action drag of multiple progressions from the browser somewhere into the composition window.
Observe the phrases created (on a new track presumably) discretely segmented, and the parts and phrases named according to the progression. Each of these is now beautifully ready for export to clip-oriented programs such as Live or Bitwig.
Then, a new export option that would go thru a track and export each phrase found to correspondingly named .mid files, could make bulk operations very quick.

Hello Attila. I would like to make a couple of small suggestions (But there are no small things in our business))). In the Convert Audio Phrase to MIDI window there should be an Auto-Apply button, and the OK button should be the final choice, after being satisfied with the result and closing the window. And I don't expect a visual MIDI preview). I would also like to see in the Composition window after any work-changes with a phrase a button or command Save this same phrase in the Browser as a replacement for the same place where it was in the browser and without opening the inspector and other questions and clarifications (just a replacement for the same place with new changes) Thank you.

RapidComposer v5.4b2 is available!
Lots of workflow improvements in this update, suggested on this forum. Thank you!

Lots of workflow improvements in this update, suggested on this forum. Thank you!
Improvements:
- One-click replacement of composition chords. Enable the new 'link' button in the progression browser
- "Create composition from progressions" button added when right-clicking on multiple progressions in the Progression Browser with voice leading option. Each progression is written to a separate Part, and a chords track is set up too.
- New export option: "Export phrases from selected track as MIDI...". Each phrase is written to its own MIDI file which is named according to the phrase name.
- Shortcuts added for "Convert audio phrases to MIDI", "Export phrases from selected track as MIDI...", "Export tracks as MIDI files..."
- When dropping an audio or MIDI file that's longer than the composition, you'll be prompted to extend the composition to fit the file.
- Bug fixes for stability issues

had a GP crash from XML.. this time I have the composition and XML for ya.. hehe.. I did it! I saved it! lol.. so happy..
Was looking to see if the XML shows up as a multi voice track in GP, but, haven't got there yet..

Thanks Attila. The link in the progression browser is a great addition. Why not do the same in the scale browser? A link for several selected chords in the master track, while the scale browser highlights the possible scales for the selected chords. This would help quickly insert the necessary and possible scales into the master track.

Yes, of course, the link in the progression browser is a great addition! Now if the already installed local scales did not disappear when linking a new progression, but were transformed into scales corresponding to the chords of the newly inserted progression, then that would be very cool!

Attila, is it possible to fix something with the plugin graphics? On my old MacBook, this picture often changes and returns only after rebooting DAW .. Thanks.

Wow! Powerful additions for RapidComposer v5.4b2!
Thank you very much Attila for a brilliant implementation, delivered with astounding speed.
A few observations will follow below.

re: "The chords will be replaced in the selected line, part, or in the whole composition"
I have so far only been able to observe replacement in the whole composition.
It seems to me like prior selection of a part or line is being ignored, but perhaps I'm not doing that correctly. So, if you know it's working, please advise me on the correct steps to pre-select a line or part and have that be the target of the replacement (without perturbing the rest of the composition).
Thanks.

Beautiful job on creating the chord track, the phrase names and file names (on export), the names. I love it!
One more point to touch on here - the track name inside the ultimate exported MIDI files.
Currently, the track names are all "Chords", and this is the result when importing into Ableton Live:
As shown, all the clips wind up with the same name, "Chords".
The reason is that Live assigns the clip names based on the track name in the MIDI file.
So, the desire is to have all the clips arrive with their individual names (per the progression). This is accomplished by writing those names (the phrase names) as the track name inside the MIDI file.
Thanks!
