What's weird is that YESTERDAY I ask them 'was that it?' on my 'Due Diligence' case ticket and they said they wanted to phone me to confirm my bank details!
So they are carrying on as though nothing has happened.
I presume everybody here has done that bank bit?

They just now replied that they will pay if we complete our KYC , but that is rubbish because:
a) We have already done our KYC two years ago
b) They confirmed that last week (the we were all good with our KYC)
It feels like random copy and paste now

I am testing digistore24.com
Note that there are 3 separate companies: US, DE and UK. You make separate contracts with each of them if you need their sales region. And it looks like you will get separate wire payments from each of them as well. (US and DE can handle worldwide, but US is exclusive for North America and Australia. So I am DE and will add US if it works out)
All three share the same customer portal and your settings, so there is no extra work.
Fees are 8% for US and 5 - 8% for DE. Digital River was 5%.
This is what I did for 5 big customers which bought last month. (keeping the smaller 5 orders in place)IaES wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 10:34 am Maybe us vendors could contact all the customers who bought over the last 3 months telling them to initiate chargebacks on their payments.
Even if Digital River would pay in time (their new time), I would get September sales on 1. December. But I need it this month, so I will ask these 5 companies them to pay via Share-it or wire.
It's 4 months without payment and I have bills and taxes to pay...
I am mid 40 and I had to ask dad for some money...
Note that you can refund any order yourself if you search for the order ID in the top right of your MyCommerce Portal. You have to enter a reason, but customers not have to tell their reason, so you can just enter "customer did not tell me".
If you think that multiple orders are somehow suspicious, take this reason:
"Our company was not paid by DR for 4 months now. We probably have to file for bankruptcy. End Customer does not want any software without further support. They switch to some other software."
I just searched for "refund".Urs wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 10:37 am I wouldn't recommend it. It would probably be a violation of contract from your side which they can probably hold against you.
(This does not mean that there aren't any other parts that allow DR to kick you out if they do not like you. See bottom of this post)
Code: Select all
(e) Reserve. Digital River may determine to exceptionally holdback some or all of the money that is in your account if Digital River has reason to believe that it might be necessary to cover future refundsPayment report July and August was done, September has left little sales only.
And any larger sale will not be done via DR in the future any more.
Do not cancel all! I have not found/searched for it yet, but note that Digital River may be allowed to kick you out if there are no sales. I know a developer of some little shareware. He had very little sales, even some months no sale. He was kicked out some time ago.

Yeah, I thought the Due Diligence thing was over as well. I had to reply to the message to find out they needed to ring me for bank details. All rather crazy really.ssec wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 11:20 am They just now replied that they will pay if we complete our KYC , but that is rubbish because:

We're (D16) on the same boat. We switched to Fastspring. So far so good. They were quite helpful if comes to integration which went smooth. But can't tell yet how it will be going long-run.ssec wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 11:49 am @HSchoenb

So you guys think money at Digital River / Fastspring is all lost ??
I think it's weird that they are still operating normally, the [platform is fully functional, payments are processed and they reimburse tax from customer orders?
They also Adobe partners :

Well, the MyCommerce site appears to be fully functional, and they are also processing purchases AND refunds. They are just not paying us anything, so all sales feel meaningless.
FastSpring looks like a fine alternative, I'm going over to them as soon as possible, I like their JS key generator setup.

I was not able to find their fees/prices as "they vary depending on your transaction volume"...
Do you have any number as a starting point?
Similar to DR with their 5%?

We stopped all sales on MyCommerce and are in the process of moving to Paddle. Seems a solid solution so far. Quite a lot of work in creating ordering processes that integrate with our systems, but good documentation and SDK/API. So far no complains. We hope to be back online in the next days.

We have exact same problem , not getting our money since June, similar story like everyone, MyCommerce Digital River Gmbh in Germany claims they changed payment terms to 60 days, after 60 days no payment, than 1 month of bizarre Due Diligence forms, delivered 3x times. Now they claim they must do "non-documentary verification", which means stating exact the same data from the forms using the phone. The only new info for us is , the phone nr they use is in Minnesota. So it looks like this whole bizarre story is managed from Digital River in USA. We are moving also everything to other payment provider, but it's not so simple since we sell subscriptions
