I’d absolute love a PPG update. Modernize the UI, add polyphonic aftertouch, maybe improve the filter a bit. People give it crap, but I actually have always thought it sounded quite good. Maybe not as gritty as the original PPG, but more like it than the 3rd Wave.Aloysius wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 8:42 pm PPG updates when you get MicroWave perfected.
Plus all the other tasty Waldorf VSTs.
Waldorf MicroWave as a plugin?

When switching between Nave pages, RAM adds up and up, and up - and never goes down. Becomes too much and this is difficult for the computer to process.
Also, the Browser is buggy in some hosts - different problems with the VST2 and VST3 version, check those two out in e.g. Reaper. One doesn't remember last used preset on project re-launch, the other - Browser becomes unusable - can't select anything.

Thanks for info, but please PM me your email alongside plugin version and OS. I don't like to do Nave support in this Microwave thread here.Medenka wrote: Thu Oct 10, 2024 5:50 amWhen switching between Nave pages, RAM adds up and up, and up - and never goes down. General note: I also like to encourage to use Waldorf support section. And if you are stuck with my colleagues and not happy, you can always PM me here.

This is not about support at all. I bet Nave is full of bugs but those two things I described make it plainly unusable. Waldorf releases plugins and leaves them full of bugs, discontinued for years. That's not how to do business. Same with the Waldorf 2 update - useless GUI for months now. The user OS version/DAW has nothing to do with the issues, this is your plugin's problems!temporubato wrote: Thu Oct 10, 2024 5:59 am I don't like to do Nave support in this Microwave thread here.

Nave (Windows version) got an update not long ago in June fixing stuff. If there's more let's discuss in detail, but please then either contact support, contact me directly or I recommend to open a new thread.
You are of course free to discuss any subject here, I just like to point out that I am here only from time to time checking if there is something I can add in regard to Microwave. My time is best used developing new stuff or updates based on getting pre-qualified info from support. I try to find a balance to be visible and helpful in forums after release of new products, but otherwise I am more helpful in doing practical stuff. And for escalation you can always PM me.

But if you can reach out to Waldorf, - microwave is something different than all other Waldorf VST
All other plugins are outdated and haven’t been updated - except of Largo - but this update was a full disaster, and was the first time that I haven’t updated a Synth, because v1 was still better than v2.
V2 had no advance and also the old GUI was looking better. All problems like the shady browser have not been touched in v2.
It feels like all older Waldorf software is abandoned / and I bet this influences the sells of Microwave

Great music company with terrible product support.
have you contacted support? Best would be if you can PM me the problem and/or the case number such I could follow up.
Thanks
