I'm liking the variety of options here. The "filter" and "finisher" sections are one-knob preset combo effects, but in the context of additional FX applied to a reverb, I think that's fine -- it's a great way to mess with the character and add interest.

Raum has gradually been taking over from ValhallaPlate(*) as my go-to reverb, for those times when I don't use a delay plugin instead. This one seems likely to take over now. The two things I miss though are the Raum-like features of having a tempo-synced predelay option and feedback. But then, I guess I could drop this inside of a Bitwig delay instead to get that.

(Don't worry, I still love ValhallaDelay to bits :D)

Bump! This is free at the moment.

It's a surprisingly versatile reverb. Really good at completely "eating up" the original source signal so makes it great for placing things deep in the Z axis.

Also good for interesting textures and things. Overall really interesting reverb.

Good reverb but forcing yet another app into the users operating system just to download and authorize a plugin is a no go for me. :dog:

Wish companies would stop doing this.

Agreed. I deleted the app after downloading. Though I haven't tried yet if that also removed the license somehow. Will test tomorrow.

It's a bit of a pain to find, but you can download without the installer app:

I have to agree.

Easily the most invasive installer I’ve come across to date. I couldn’t believe how much phone home stuff their installation process put on my machine. Took about 10-15 minutes to find it all and trash it.

And that link to downloads without their "installer" junk? It aint free. What a joke.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean here, but it absolutely is free. You just click the link to download it, install it like any other program, and enter in what you need to activate it.

Lol... at least the presets "Piano Music Hall" and "Piano Scoring Stage" are absolutely identical - great quality control! :tu:

UFX is a pretty good reverb.

I wish more companies would provide a product management app like UJAM. It's very useful and more efficient than separate downloads. I think they should also provide separate product downloads as well.

I deleted the app since it was 5x the disk space of the plugin. Plugin still works fine...

actually i've had a hellish experience with Ujam and their app.
I own a shitload of their plugins and they kept de-registering themselves every few days.
If there was an update for one of their plugins, somehow each individual plugin knew this (phoning home) and suddenly ALL of my UJAM plugin then de-registered themselves. I ended up with Ujam anxiety every time i called up one of their plugins. Many many times the whole suite of Ujam plugins even de-registered themselves when i was OFFLINE!!!

You can imagine my surpreeeze!!

Support was utter shite. Their solution was for me to keep their app open 24/7.
Had enough.

anyone wanna buy some Ujam plugins?

This is annoying. I have a couple of them, including this reverb and they are constantly un-registering. They also seem to lose any settings that I change on a preset and won’t stay resized.

I have the UJAM products except most of the beatmakers and finishers. They've all been working well for me. The UJAM app has worked great for me and has been a time saver. I had a problem and support was fast, helpful and friendly. A true example of YMMV!
