A few people on here have mentioned having phone calls to confirm personal, business and Banking Details etc. Is that legitimate? I mean are the callers really the DR employees they claim to be? Or are they just crooks who are targeting us vendors to harvest personal, business and banking details?Syncsro wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2024 11:33 pm https://www.linkedin.com/in/joseph-gohr ... ndroid_app
this thief was terrorizing us. first he wrote he had to check us by phone/Non-Doc Verification. When we repeated all the stupid data (they have for 20 years) through the phone, they didn't pay anyway. We asked again where's our money,he wrote that everything was verified and that he would pass our data and will inform us, which of course did not happen and now he doesn't respond at all.
DR has my phone number but nobody has phoned me.
There's no link from this forum to my website.
There's no phone numbers published on my website.
You people who have had a phone call. Is there a way that a scammer could follow your site link from this forum to your site to see your phone number and then pretend to be DR "just confirming some personal/banking details"?
I don't care who calls me - if anyone does - I won't be giving them any details that they should already have.
I know we're all keen to get our money back but don't fall into a trap giving crooks any details.

I'm also in the same boat as anyone else here: MyCommerce vendor (selling software for .NET developers), been vendor there since 2002 (first SWReg, then DR, then MyCommerce), last payment was on July 15th, filled in the KYC form twice, never heard anything back, haven't changed our details since forever on their control panel so no KYC needed even. I also opened a support ticket and have only heard back once that their 'leadership team was working on it', which made me think "Why is the leadership team working on this".
I'm so glad I found this thread as I really thought I was the only one not getting paid and it perhaps was about the KYC forms that we had to fill in. This all feels very fishy and a scam. Switching MoR platforms might be a little easier for us than for some others here, but it's still a massive hassle, not to mention the money that we still have to receive
I've told them in the support ticket that they're in breach of our contract and that I've found numerous forumposts/linkedin posts with vendors all not being paid so asked if we should take legal action. Let's see what they'll respond (likely silence).
Going to work on moving to another MoR today. I'll look into Paddle and Cleverbridge. Hopefully the signup process doesn't take too long. Thanks all for the info in this thread, it's been a great help!

"A few people on here have mentioned having phone calls to confirm personal, business and Banking Details etc. Is that legitimate?" : After the KYC hell (we had to redo it 3 times), DigitalRiver asked for a phone nr. to do the Non-Doc Verification, the person that called was Joe Gohr (the same name was signed under their messages in Digital River support environment) and phone nr. was from Minnesota USA (DigitalRiver USA is based in Minnesota ). So I think it was really them.

Exactly the same here as everyone else experienced. Business partners since 18 years. No payments since July 15. The Due Dilligence blurb filed a long time ago and confirmed as fullfilled and correct by their side. Never received the announced call for bank account verification (which anyway is ridiculous since the account hasn't changed once in 18 years). The exact same empty copy-paste response-phrases by their obviously KI-generated "support" system. Back in the day there was personal german support for business partners. Even direct phone support. Now everything only in englsih and obviously KI-generated.
We tried to call them via several numbers (also taken from the official imprint and contact sites). All these numbers only lead to the always same shopping support center. The person at the other end couldn't give any info on the matter. Also no direct number. Then we called the Amtsgericht in Köln where they are registered as company. They also couldn't provide any info. They gave us the number of the responsible judge. Number was dead.
Thing is, if they are NOT bankrupt yet they definitely soon WILL be after this mass exodus going on right now.
The same that happened with the Credit Suisse when everyone took away their assets once there was the rumour out they could go bankrupt soon.
I fear that all owed money is lost.
EDIT: In the meantime we traced a board member who's directly connected to the sales department, traced his private facebook account (was not that easy since no clear name) and left a message in a public post that he should be aware that there's a mass exodus going on RIGHT NOW (pointing to this forum) and that he has to communicate NOW if the mass exodus should not lead to bankrupsy itself
If he should't take any measures within the next two days then one probablly can be sure that MyCommerce is done financially. Which only could be caused by horrific management in this absolute high time of digital sales with neglible material risks.
You may call the Amtsgericht Köln yourself to apply some more pressure. Here's the number:
+49 221 7711-0
Concerned company: Digital River GmbH, HRB 56188
The links:
https://www.handelsregister.de/rp_web/welcome.xhtml
(search for "Digital River GmbH" exact name) which refers to the Amtsgericht Köln where they are listed:
https://www.ag-koeln.nrw.de/kontakt/index.php
So far no reaction from the named board-member. They probably already settled in the Bahamas...
Strange thing is that the platform itself still works flawlessly.

Exactly, if they know they are bankrupt and will not be able to pay publishers anymore, they must stop trading now, they are selling products they are not theirs and if they know they can't pay for them they are trading while insolvent which is a big dealPeter999 wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 8:24 am Strange thing is that the platform itself still works flawlessly.

it's on my mind that tomorrow, the 16th October, is the date that the new 'Master' service agreement apparently comes into effect. I wonder if they are waiting until then to pull some new bullshit on us all.ssec wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 8:46 amExactly, if they know they are bankrupt and will not be able to pay publishers anymore, they must stop trading now, they are selling products they are not theirs and if they know they can't pay for them they are trading while insolvent which is a big dealPeter999 wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 8:24 am Strange thing is that the platform itself still works flawlessly.

Since when do people ring you to confirm banking details etc. I've done KYC for other online services in the past and never had this.Syncsro wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 8:08 am "A few people on here have mentioned having phone calls to confirm personal, business and Banking Details etc. Yeah, this is when they'll start deducting $100 per month, $185 per support hour and trim smaller debt by introducing $2500 minimum payout.disgruntled wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 9:26 am it's on my mind that tomorrow, the 16th October, is the date that the new 'Master' service agreement apparently comes into effect. That's why I not only stopped selling with them, but also sent an agreement termination notice back in September, by not accepting the proposed new services agreement, accordingly to the point 5a, 6b and 14a of the agreement revision 6.1.

Received another email to fill in the KYC docusign document, but I've already filled it in twice (in June and in September).
Looked into Paddle and Cleverbridge. Cleverbridge's API is close to what we're using with MyCommerce now, however their sign up process is a bit weird (and no pricing info). Paddle's API is convoluted (why not auto-invoice setups?) and signup requires a 3rd party company which gets your data. Not sure about that.
What a mess.

We just had another email today subject: Important reminder: Immediate action is required for account verification
yet, we've already done the KYC. It seems like another way of not paying out.

Just wanted to search for a lawyer as well to get some advice.Hannpeter wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 3:44 am We are going to hire a lawy-er in Germany to sue Digital River. Their behavior is too bad! Everyone can also jointly sue!
