Does anyone know if there is a plugin version of the above-mentioned BOSS SG1 pedal?

It basically slows down the attack. Kinda like auto-swell.

But maybe you can get a dynamics processor with an envelope generator to do the trick.

Pecheneg FX disappeared (website down) just when I was about to buy AutoSwell Pro…And this was a very long time ago.

One can only use the AutoSwell light version and never get to try the Pro version.

Volume shaper by Cable guys allows you to use an envelope follower that you can use to do auto swells.

Guitar rig has a preset called slow gear and you can make your own with the modulators.

There is a stomp box in AmpliTube that models it, called Swell.
It has an added depth control not found on the original pedal.
