I am currently using Plaits in my techno rack for bass duties and I am happy with the results so far. Having said that I would like to get into acid territories with it. I was thinking about combining Plaits with a VCF303 but, as I already have a Pico VCF1, I would rather use that instead.
I suspect I need an envelope to open the filter when the gates hit, is that right? Could I use an LFO with a clock-in or reset input instead?
I don't have any modulation source in my rack and I am planning to get one that could work in the scenario above. Any insights and/or recommendations on what to get?
