Great addition but there are issues right now. Bass is not a choice for Instrument here, but as soon as I choose Synth, I get Bass as a sub category of synth. That's an annoying limitation on searching for bass sounds, it should be the other way around, period. In fact bass is only a category in "synth", every other category doesn't include bass, but selecting World Suite3 for instance first and typing Search for Bass, I get 84 hits... ugh. Searching by typing Bass I get 999 results.. How does such a basic macro category of searching get missed?

Huh - that's not how it appears here. I have Bass as an instrument type, not a subtype of synth. One of the timbre options is Electric. In my case that produces 23 results, most of which are indeed electric basses but there's a few random matches there.

Here's another hopefully constructive criticism. Timbre can be monophonic and digital, most of the time when I'm searching for both of those things I want the sound to include both tags, i.e. it should not include polyphonic digital sounds. Multiple Timbre selecting should narrow the search not widen it. NI do it this way and it's awful, Arturia narrow the search and it's lovely.

Totally agree on this one though - I made the exact same comment a couple of pages ago.

If you type Bass in the search bar, it will looks for all the tags named bass (and more)

Please add Reindex Presets option in Falcon in next update without erasing favorites.

It would be great to have an option to convert soundbanks into individual presets so that users can delete presets that they do not like, saves lot of disk space.

I just submitted a ticket regarding duplicate presets and presets still appearing in browser (still can preview but can't load) even after soundbanks are deleted from hard drive and Soundbank path is updated in Falcon Preferences.

I got reply asking me to use UVI Workstation to reset database. How does resetting database in Workstation reset Falcon database as some Falcon soundbanks don't even appear in Workstation?

Thanks for the update. Tagging is nice and quick for finding sounds. How much of the UVI catalogue is already in the TagLibrary.ufs. I see some soundbanks like waverunner in the library but a lot of the VV4 soundbanks are not there. Is there a way to rescan the provided tagging.

There will be a function to remove soudnbank which you don't own anymore from the database.

Duplicates are maybe files which are actually available in mulitiple location in the soundbank ?

It's best if you can contact the support with some example so we can troubleshot see further

Found it, in preferences, for a third location for UVISoundBanks the checkbox "indexed" was unchecked. It works now and see al the VV4 banks. In total now 28.731 presets
I did have several crashes in Reaper , win10, Falcon VST2 when when opening Falcon, new empty project, lookup glass en crash....

I'm assuming this is why noiseboyuk above sees bass in the instrument category but I only get the results I posted above for bass by searching bass?

None of the world instruments3 basses come through as a tag either, but if I select world instruments3 and search bass I get something like 80 hits

World Suite 3 has not been manualy tagged yet so it's still a bit rough.
