They paid $1 for the original <70GB Sampletank 4. They didn't buy the Total Bundle for $10, they said they would buy it when it costs $10. Still, I don't blame you for being frustrated. The Total Bundle is $200 right now, which is definitely a lot less than you paid for it. That does seem to be how software prices go though.mambo888 wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 10:45 pmYou are lucky you paid $10, I paid $700 for the same total bundle, thank you IKM for considering your paying customers so much. If you gave 50% discount I would not say anything. Don't be surprised if I don't buy anything from IKM again.Stirner wrote: Sun Sep 22, 2024 7:08 amNo, I think, the download speed was great. The problem is, I wanted the libraries to be installed on an external drive and I had an earlier installation of some libraries on the system drive and wanted the new ones to be installed somewhere else. I think, Sample Tank is very sensible about folders. Now everything is broken and uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help. But showing no error messages at all is very strange.Examigan wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 11:41 pm How long did you wait? I think it takes a while to get going. Also maybe their servers are slammed because of the Humble Bundle deal.
It's ok. I payed only 1$. So, No IKM for me anymore - till the IKM Total Bundle costs 10$. Than I will try again![]()

But that’s through Humble Bundle and is raising money for charities. People can pay more than that if they’d like.mambo888 wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 10:45 pmYou are lucky you paid $10, I paid $700 for the same total bundle, thank you IKM for considering your paying customers so much. Would love to have some better contrast in the Mod Matrix:

I think all of the other 40 items are already included in Max v2, but it is a great deal.Geil-O-Mat wrote: Thu Oct 17, 2024 5:20 pm Now you can get ST 4 Max V2 for less than 28 Euros on Humble Bundle + 40 other items: https://www.humblebundle.com/software/i ... warebundle

If you want 600GB worth of Wish-versions of every instrument, yes.HOTF wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:04 amIs it worth it ?Geil-O-Mat wrote: Thu Oct 17, 2024 5:20 pm Now you can get ST 4 Max V2 for less than 28 Euros on Humble Bundle + 40 other items: https://www.humblebundle.com/software/i ... warebundle

Even if you just need some drums for your tracks, I would say yes. There are a bunch of great acoustic drum kits: Peart, Bozzio, Cobham, and Padgham. Just for those it's worth it, but of course there is so much more included.HOTF wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:04 amIs it worth it ?Geil-O-Mat wrote: Thu Oct 17, 2024 5:20 pm Now you can get ST 4 Max V2 for less than 28 Euros on Humble Bundle + 40 other items: https://www.humblebundle.com/software/i ... warebundle

I just tried the Berlin piano and it's cool. Every kind of instrument is covered (of course synthesis apart, this is mostly a rompler), seems to be working in Linux - even though download must be done on windows. For about 30 euros what could you ask for more... I'm thinking of saying goodbye to Native Instruments and UVI altogether with this one, and maybe jump on a total max upgrade at a later moment....

The highlight of this for me is Sampletron 2.

Pity the connection currently seems pretty much unstable and their product manager is hardly keeping up, when the download stales it's not able to resume and hangs...

One of my favorites too, I really like it.
Also, I am not as much of a fan of sampled synths versus actual synth plugins (e.g. Diva) but some of the Syntronik stuff is pretty good.
The Miroslav orchestra has some good sounds in there, but not as great as something like Spitfire's orchestral products. Of course, they're way more expensive too.
I was checking out the drums again today and I have to admit, I never really use the Multi setups in Sampletank. Not sure why, but anyway...one thing people might not know is there are seperate versions of the main kits they include. So you can use a Multi-version of (e.g.) the Padgham kit and each part is separated out for you with some appropriate effects ready to go. You can of course swap them out for other effects, or use multiouts to use your own in your DAW.

Very tempting. But will still pass i think despite the price because of download/install process.
