I've just upgraded from version 7.10 to 10.48.3 and am absolutely delighted to discover so many improvements, both in terms of sound and workflow (the Program management is absolutely outstanding, to take just one example). However, I have two problems:
1/ The shortcuts work with all the programs in the Standalone version, but only with one program, Welcome FX, in the VST plugin (Windows 10, Ableton Live 10 Suite).
2/ Compatibility of the programs of older versions is not 100%. For example, take a piano note, run it through version 7, set it to 7 generators with Generator Offset at 240 ms (btw this Generator Offset is the only thing I regret about the old version). You get 7 notes played one after the other. Export the program and open it with version 10. There are now only 6 notes.

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed the Generator Offset is calculated different as this is a Grain Modulation for now. That means the "Generator Offset in 7" behavior is a special case of all the modulation variations you can get with v10. To achieve a "generator offset 7" behavior in 10 you need to adjust the "Offset" Mod and the Phase with Mod Mode "On 100%" ... ok, that is a bit more complicated but once you get it, it opens up a huge playground..
Regarding shortcuts: Confirmed, Ableton Live seems to send only uppercase shortcuts to the plug-in once one clicks on the UI. That explains why the 0..9 shortcuts still working. This behavior is strange and need further investigation...

As far as the Generator Offset is concerned, your approach isn't that simple and my problem is that I've created around 200 programs with version 7 but I have the impression that the problem I've raised doesn't occur as clearly with the other programs. Having said that, I fully understand your desire to add new features.
Your answer to the second problem has solved my problem in a way, since clicking once on the GUI allows you to use the numeric keypad and, personally, I have nothing against pressing “2” and “+” instead of “b” and “k”, on the contrary.
I'd like to take this opportunity to ask you if it wouldn't be possible in future versions of Crusher-X to have a shortcut for the “Go to next program” arrow? This would make it possible, in conjunction with the “k” (or “+”) key, to travel easily through the programs, just from the computer keyboard.

We try to keep as much "sound compliant" as possible from upgrade to upgrade. But in specific with the "Generator Offset" it was a challenge!
Yes, good idea to add also shortcuts for program up/dn! It's already on the backlog!
