Also, take note that they sued "Songster", so it looks like anyone that even has a f**king -STER in their name is fair game in their book
This just get's worse and worse...

Look out, lads! You're gonna be next...

This is a company built on the premise that short lengths of copper wire can magically sound different from other short lengths of copper wire.
These people sell bullshit to the terminally stupid.
These people do not have a single scientifically valid measurement on their entire website (and never have produced one).
Why such anger that they reach for the lawyers to earn a bit more revenue?
In any sane world the entire audio cable industry would be shut down for the manifest fraud that it commits.

I just sent them this e-mail:
Hi,
the below is an excerpt from a music audio site forum that reflects my oppinion on Monster Cable's outrageous "protection" of the word monster
QUOTE
F@cking disgusting
I've never actually bought from them, but now you can guarantee that I won't EVER buy from scum like this.
I think that everyone should distribute this so that as many people as possible know this and avoid them like the plague.
Absolute cXnts
UNQUOTE
I think you'll agree that the sentiment is pretty profane, eh ? But rest assured that I'm not alone and there are plenty of others on the audio sphere that feel this way.
I'm off to QED and IXOS sites to check out their cables to install in my new studio system.
Good luck with the lawsuits!

Ach, they make me so angry

I've sent an eMail to Mr. Graham as well (a reasonable one I think).
I was telling him I would print out the Denver Post article and stick copies of it (along with an additional note to boycott monster cables from now on) in all of our classrooms at the local music university (where I'm teaching). Which I will do indeed.
I also told him that our studios will from now on be monster cable free zones.
Let's see if he get's back...

I've also written an e-mail and CC'd it to whoever was on the contacts list.
I don't have much influence over other people's purchases, but you can be guaranteed that I won't be buying their product, my dad won't be buying their product, and 3 of my friends won't be buying their product.
I think it's time to take a little visit over to ProjectGuitar.com to see if they've heard of this.

If each of your friends has 3 more friends, and if each of those friends... you do the math.
Seriously, these tactics can't get through unnoticed and/or unanswered. So a chain reaction is just what we need.

So does that mean the end of all the "Monster Trucks" events. Does that mean the film "Monster" needs a new title.
Can we do a KVR appeal to help those being sued. Maybe a cover of "Monster Mash" is appropriate.
I wouldn't buy their cables anyway. Too expensive.
