Didn't see that coming. And if I read correctly, this version 2 will not be made in collaboration with iZotope.10 years ago, iZotope and BT combined creative forces to make BreakTweaker, revolutionizing the way you sculpt and develop rhythms. Since then, it’s been used on everything from blockbuster film scores like Tennet to GRAMMY-nominated albums like These Hopeful Machines. You’ve all amazed us by pushing the limits of what BreakTweaker can do.
BT has big plans for BreakTweaker 2, set to launch in 2025. As a special thank you, all current BreakTweaker owners will get a 40% discount on the new version through BT’s new SoundLabs venture.

Sounds okay to me.We’re a team of award-winning musicians and developers. Led by producer and software developer, BT, we’re committed to being a leader in the creation of ethically trained AI assistive tools that put the power in musicians’ hands, and keeps it there.

Interesting. I don’t own a license for the original; I never caved for one of the ridiculous deals from Izotope. I don’t think Iris is a BT thing, but if he picks up semi-abandonware and makes it better with support I am all for it.

Both were "free with purchase" at Plugin Boutique in the past.Gribs wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 7:00 pm Interesting. So for the price of a three dollar sound library, it was easy to "cave".

Breaktweaker 1 had a pretty good factory library of WAVs. That was always worth ten bucks.

We know nothing whatsoever about v2 other than it will apparently exist. A bit premature for this sort of question.thecontrolcentre wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 9:51 pm Anyone know if the "Expanded" Breaktweaker packs will work with v2?

interesting.. both Michael Hetrick and Joshua Dickinson from Unfiltered Audio are part of the development team. could be interesting with them on board. they're both quite smart and creative people with work ethics to match. will have to keep an eye out on what breaktweaker 2 turns into.
