Reading the description and looking at the parameters, it does look like a clone of Inflator, but i'm not touching anymore HorNet plugins with a barge pole. That new framework of theirs is horrible and they bang out these new plugins far too quickly for there to be any QC going on. I know, they are dirt cheap with the "sales"(this tactic of theirs is kind of annoying too), but they aren't no brainers either

This is a great free Inflator clone. Supposedly it nulls with Inflator. I don't have the tools or time to test that, but I can say it sounds great:

Sure thing! That being said, Hornet says they've added some extra features, so Thrust may well be worth looking into as well.

Yep, we added some features:

1. delta feature: it let you listen just the difference between the original sound and the processed one
2. variable oversampling: from 1x to 8x with auto option that set the right amount according to sample rate
3. multichannel support: it can go on ATMOS bed since it supports up to 10 channels of audio
4. loudness control: I tink it's the most interesting one, it sets the amount of positive or negative modulation of the curve parameter with the output of a k-weighted filter so increases the level increase where the human hearing si more sensible allowing you to squeeze some LUFS more from your mix without sacrificing the bottom end response

Oh well yess and no. we have a soft clipper hard clipper and hyper versatile clipper with HoRNet Planer, but that algorithm is more of a wave shaper.

Unless you enable the clip 0dB option no clipping happens inside the plugin, search line for the algorithm analysis we based the plugin on those results and the work done for the RCInflator JSFX for reaper.
