It's been a while since I've owned or seriously considered buying another acoustic bass, but I owned a cheap-ish Washburn acoustic/electric back in the late 90s/early 2000s. I had a side gig with a few other musicians I knew from various bands and we formed a side band that primarily played "unplugged" covers of 90s songs in the local college scene. That bass played great, had a nice sounding pickup, preamp, and EQ, and held up well for several years of gigging. Not sure how helpful that is, since I don't recall the model and I'm sure it's long since discontinued, but I'd certainly consider another Washburn bass if I was in the market.

I've got one of the Gear4Music ones;

Don't play it a lot, but recorded a few things with it and have no complaints. Nice tone, piezo pickup is useable, intonation and tuning stability all fine.
