My guess is that the beta - tester on VI - Control posted the same Video as the beta - tester on kvr; which is this one.

It's not a video it's an audio file.

It is wise to include a link when we post.
Though I may have forgotten to do this on occasion.

BTW does Myth have an audio input?

Post

Most VSTi's do not have an audio input.

It could be CPU - Overkill to feed Audio into the Re-synthesis Engine in Real-time, not sure. :?

Sorry. I wasn't being cryptic. I just didn't know the KVR policy about linking to others forums

Post

I have previously on a few occasions asked for people to include a link.
So please do not take this personal.
As far as I am concerned this is the end of this exchange. :)

I know I stood up for Myth's not-super-accurate resynthesis as a totally valid way of feeding all of the available synthesis methods on it... but this does seem to make an already very good instrument better.

Curiously, none of the demonstrated sounds in the video appear to use the second level of resonators/noise.

I await my update to see if there is a good reason for this.

they can be used, all transformers, with the new resynthesis.

the new resynthesis adds only a new source, all transformers, modulations are the same as the so called classic MYTH resynthesis.

I was wondering less that they still work and rather more whether they are less suitable for the new methods. However, this is silly musings on my part when I will be able to test it out soon anyway.
