Keep building great plugins and hopefully not worry too much about business side.... (Meanwhile one obviously has to make enough money...)
There are a few beloved devs who keep reasonable prices and do no bundles or sales. Maybe it can work for you too.

Harmony Bloom is already such a tremendous bargain and you have updated it so much, no discounts are needed. Just keep on doing what you have beenMarioNietoWorld wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2024 5:14 pmHey guys, I think I’d rather take a step back since my goal is to sell the chord generator at an affordable price, and I need to be clear on what I want to do and how to do it. So, I may not offer bundles or it might take some time to set them up. Also, offering a discount to previous buyers of Harmony Bloom would require an additional system on the shop, which I currently don’t have, to provide the discount for returning customers. This would add a layer of complexity that takes time away from improving the plugins and working on updates. So, I think the best thing is not to commit to anything for now.MarioNietoWorld wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2024 2:02 pmYes, I’d like to do a bundle—I'll most likely release it a little while after publishing the chord generator.xx JPRacer xx wrote: Sat Oct 26, 2024 3:28 am Will there be a special "bundle" price when you release the chord generator or I should just buy now?
I for one will buy Chord Generator the day it becomes available
In fact let me suggest a "Mario is Awesome" edition
Sell a version that is exactly the same but double the normal price and I will buy that the day it comes out as a way to say thanks and let you know how much we appreciate your work

I'd be happy to be it now, even if it isn't finished...

@MarioNietoWorld - You’ve dedicated a lot of time and hard work to make Harmony Bloom such an incredibly useful MIDI plug-in. You’ve been releasing consistent updates and replying to questions much more than I would expect for a single person operation.
Your asking price of only $32 has been more than fair for what HB is capable of. So, I won’t be at all disappointed if there isn’t a discount on the Chord Generator release. After all, you’re responsible for keeping your business afloat, so that you can continue development plans going into the future.
Offer a bundle deal when, and ONLY when, you know that you can afford it... period. And until then, I will continue to purchase each plug-in individually. I think your software is worth it!!

I appreciate all the support, guys! By the way, taking the chance to share the link to the live stream I’ll be doing today. I don’t always share it, but every now and then it’s good to give a heads-up.

Hi folks.
Please explain the following like I´m a child or a golden retriever:
If I set my daw to 4/4 and 100bpm and start to fool around with Harmony Bloom and find a nice pattern with 7 notes and a quantised offset of 1/14 (all other offsets at zero) it is in effect playing a loop in 7/8 and 87.5 bpm. If I now want to build my track at 87.5 and 7/8 and switch my daw to this the loop will play back at a much slower tempo. Is there any way to get the plugin to behave as I want in 7/8 and 87.5 bpm..?

Harmony Bloom v1.3.1 won't run at all in desktop version and won't load (crashes without loading) as a VST3 in Bitwig Studio 5.2.5.
Windows 11.
Any suggestions? This seems to be new; I hadn't experienced any issues previously.

It seems there's an issue with a dependency. Could you please download and install this? It’s a Microsoft installer thing. If any window pops up, just click repair.eecrumjr77 wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2024 4:52 pm Harmony Bloom v1.3.1 won't run at all in desktop version and won't load (crashes without loading) as a VST3 in Bitwig Studio 5.2.5.

Afterwards, if everything goes well, you should be able to use Harmony Bloom.

Mario, thanks so much - this solved the issue, which apparently wasn't related to HB, or at least not HB exclusively since I noticed a couple other plugins also weren't functioning after I posted earlier.MarioNietoWorld wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2024 8:04 pm

I appreciate your help! And also looking forward to the chord generator. To echo what others have said, I'm happy to pay whatever fair price you decide to set for it, no need for bundles or repeat customer discounts. It's refreshing to see someone do things in an old-school, quality- & solid work ethic-focused way without hyperbole and marketing gimmicks. Totally genuine vibe.
