avid_d wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2024 6:24 pm Curiously, none of the demonstrated sounds in the video appear to use the second level of resonators/noise.

I await my update to see if there is a good reason for this.
they can be used, all transformers, with the new resynthesis.

the new resynthesis adds only a new source, all transformers, modulations are the same as the so called classic MYTH resynthesis.
I was wondering less that they still work and rather more whether they are less suitable for the new methods. However, this is silly musings on my part when I will be able to test it out soon anyway.
you can indeed find it out very soon, they are as suitable, in my opinion, in working with the Resynthesis V2, recently... as with Resynthesis Classic...

both have their merits, and stay within the Realm of MYTH.

it was and is and will be an unique synth, in my humble opinion.

but indeed, as always; the pleasure lies in working with the thing-itself.......

So hyped for Friday.

I love Myth as it is so having extended functionality can only make an already great thing even better.

Apparently there are four modes for the new re synthesis. Can’t wait!

Are only samples used as a source of sound generation in Myth?

No, Myth also has built-in oscillators with various waveforms including noise and many modules to further shape those immediately after generating the base waveforms.
You can do FM and Physical Modelling without using a single sample by disabling the Irises and using the Generation/Wave module in the OSC1 and/or OSC2 section.

May be a system error. Hope it comes back, I think 8 hours deal might be an error 😅

According to plugin deals sites there is supposed to be a 40% Tracktion sale on the Tracktion site, Audiodeluxe, plugin boutique and JRR shop.

It might not have gone live yet.

That would put Myth at $107

You can also use noise and the modal filter/resonators for some physically modeled type sounds.

Even on sale, I'm holding off to see the new update before biting. I'm very interested to see if it makes Myth what I expected it to be from the start.

As mentioned somewhere above, you can test the 1.5 version, it's available in their discord channel :)
