Outside of EU, received payment for single account today, initiated refunds, requested accounts closure.

We are outside of EU and only received payment for one account that passed the KYC in the past few months.

In addition, we don't process bulk refund and never asked for account closure.

This has been discussed on before (search this thread), and it is no official information, just rumors.

Historicaly, payment notification was never tightly connected to actual payment. Sometimes we even received notification after the payment (even days).

No, but I refunded since 1st June.

I received payment for july today, too.

August and september still missing, and no word from DR about that.
So, all this is weired.

Well, payment arrived few minutes ago. Details:

- Outside of EU (Serbia)
- Payment was for July. It came out in full.
- Amount was less than 10k
- I refunded most orders last week, including those from July, only few smaller ones left to cover fees.
- Wasn't asked about KYC recently, can't remember if it was done years ago. We're with them since 2005.
- MyCommerce account is not closed.
- I even opened a case to not send the July/Avgust payments 2 days ago, reported it here.

If anyone asked me a week ago about what will happen next, this would be the least likely scenario. We still don't have any explanation about what is/was going on.

I'll have to consult accountants about what to do with payment. I assume advice would be to accept it, since it corresponds with paperwork we received and booked. And when DR at one point asks for money back, we'll of course send it. But I'm afraid if we refuse SWIFT transfer, funds return, and since that scenario is probably not automated like all the others, that return might not get lost and not accounted on their side. At that point we might be held liable for refunded amount.

Payment arrived here too:
- Within EU (France)
- July fully paid (even though I issued some refunds for that month)
- Amount was more than €10k
- Never asked about KYC
- Account is not closed though I have sent a postal letter to close it and get the funds a few weeks ago

Still missing: August, September, 10 days of October...

What is KYC ?
Read that abbreeviation seversal times here, but I do not know what that is/means.

KYC = "know your customer"

It's a government regulation that ask for banks and other financial institutions to confirm with some documentation who the real customer is. Officially it was supposed to prevent funding of terrorist organizations, money laundering, etc.

in UK, nothing yet for July. no notifications, have done KYC.

Here are some questions for all here who have received a payment for July now - can you please share details:
1) did you complete DR's KYC process and if yes when and how did they confirm your KYC status?
2) did you take legal action against DR?
3) did you do any refunds for your customers?
4) did you close your DR account?

Please share your answers here in the forum so that we all may be able to shed some light on DR's inconsistent behavior.
