"It is done. We haven’t paid vendors since July. Finance and Treasury doing unethical stuff"
Seens to be someone from DR.

Read through the posts below this initial opener post - one of them disputes this narrative claming:ChrisG_33_JB wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 12:59 pm from https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1v6ckGhZ:
"My sources in the finance department of Digital River unfortunately confirm this information. Bankruptcy will be announced at the end of November. The company's management is paying out multimillion-dollar bonuses and settling debts with its major clients, such as Autodesk and Adobe. All the money from small merchants using MyCommerce has long been in Latin American banks. Goodbye, Digital River."
I have no idea how reliable that is.
Hm, maybe with the payments for july they want to stop people refunding orders?
Who knows, really hard to tell what to do.
No idea which one is the actual truth.Where did you get this nonsense about bankruptcy? The management has secured additional funds and won several major lawsuits (such as the cases with Ericsson and AsusTek). The blocked funds from Kaspersky are also already unblocked. To attract financing, the legal department spent more than a month on KYC for old accounts, of which there are thousands. This caused delays in payments.
Considering the reduction in expenses, the company is more stable than ever and is onboarding new major players in the market.
But the fact that they paied the July period yesterday and announced to pay the August period today or tomorrow (we asked them about it) gives some hope that they're NOT facing bankruptcy - otherwise they wouldn't be able to pay
EDIT: I googled the mentioned case with Ericsson and indeed found this:
https://www.carpmaels.com/no-slice-of-t ... -ericsson/
Funny thing it was about a voltage controlled oscillator (no joke) - read yourself on the site linked above - an excerpt:
In June 2024, Ericsson applied for provisional measures at the Lisbon Local Division (LD) requesting a PI against ASUSTek and two co-defendants, Arvato and Digital River, for alleged infringement of EP2819131. EP2819131 relates to an inductor layout for reduced voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) coupling that exists in certain WiFi Modules. Ericsson alleged that ASUSTek and Digital River infringed the patent in respect of offering and selling laptops and notebooks that include either the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 Module or the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 Module.

Company in The USA.
No money received.
We sent a legally binding letter in September.
In response, we received two unclear and incorrect requests for DD/KYC.
we did not filled out them.
We initiated refunds for customers.
Approximately 16-20% of definitely received their money back and re-purchased licenses through PayPro Global

I hope you all get your August payouts as well, but I really think DR has completely broken trust and that no one should stay with them. The new terms are terrible: NET60, $185/hr for terrible support, and $100/mo to use the platform.
It wasn't just lack of communication. Many businesses hired lawyers to send demand letters, only to receive a generic response from DR's lawyers that they do not consider our debt claims to be valid. Is DR going to reimburse our legal expenses? Are they going to apologize?
Why should we believe that they won't do even worse things in the future?

Still waiting for the July payout here. I was asked for a KYC/DD, too, but it was less than 2 years ago that we went through the process. I eventually gave in and provided all the required documents again. Haven't really heard back from them since...well, except for some automatic AI shit which they charge for now. This is so ridiculous. I'm located in Germany btw.
I have a customer & friend here in Germany, who's company did finally receive the July payment.

UK, didn't refund, didn't send legal letter, filled in KYC mid september - heard nothing - no payout email - no payout at all received - case 'on hold' - have used them for 17 years
seems from 'responses' posted here that DR's strategy is mis-information and gaslighting
we should not have to interpret anonymous comments on layoff websites to figure out their intentions - they could easily tell us honestly (or the register etc) what is happening - but they CHOOSE not to - and give meaningless responses
who would ever contemplate doing business with Digital River, or their associates, ever again
if i had to guess... they can't declare themselves insolvent if they are not - and they must still have a lot of all our cash in their bank - so they are paying out at the longest possible interval - 30 days (for resolving issues) after the newly enforced net60, and using any excuse not to pay at all (KYC presumably) and waiting for what must now be inevitable....
if DR was your business, and you suddenly couldn't payout, what would you do... i would like to think i would come clean...

- no payout (yet?),
- no email about payout,
- no refunds made
- account currency: EUR, SEPA account transfer
- KYC filled in on October 11th,
- support confirmed Oct 28th that KYC is done,
- all support cases "resolved" with last message confirming KYC done,
- sent account termination notice in the end of September, confirmed closed on Oct 22nd - the administration panel looks slightly differently - i.e. payment options are editable, no agreements, no dashboard, but all reports and sales still there (as per the agreement they should be available for some time)

In UK, many years with MyCommerce DR. No payments since 15th July. KYC done.
No email about payout, no payment, no response from "Solution Centre" for 22 days, on hold, completely in dark.
No sales report for Sept due today according to their De facto new terms.

It seems to be a criminal organisation, maybe similar to the Mafia, which should be punished by law.

If you received a KYC notification when logging the control panel, then this means you have to complete the KYC in order to receive the payments.
By the way, it could take at least 3 weeks to finally pass the KYC verification according to the support team.

I'm also UK. My payout currency is USD
I gave them all the KYC info in May.
There's nothing in my control panel asking for more info.
In June I asked them if the KYC was complete and they replied a couple days later saying it was being reviewed.
I asked again in July if KYC was completed and the reply took longer but said it was being reviewed and I would be notified.
Have receive no notification.
So I have no idea if anyone looked at my KYC info.
Do no want to open another case in their support site.
I have no email about payout of july money.
I received no payout.
I did refunds but left enough in the account to cover their fees.
I do NOT want them to payout now.
I'll close my account and set the payout threshold to a million or something to prevent payout and wash my hands of this whole thing and get on with my life.

Don't close your account, as your money will be blocked for six months. Even if you don't receive it today, it's possible to receive it in a month. Consider keeping the account open but using another platform for payments - wait and see how it goes.IaES wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2024 7:27 am I did refunds but left enough in the account to cover their fees.

Do all your customers receive their refunds? I initiated around 30 refunds for testing, but only six customers received the money in their bank accounts. Although all customers received a refund notification email, the actual refund never arrived.
