Btw, in case anyone doesn't know, Oek have started a rent to own plan, so you can now get Soothe 2 for £10 a month or something (forget exact amount)
Seriously impressed so far. Just seems to sound good on everything I've tried it on, unlike a similar plugin I bought.
And cpu much lower than I was expecting. For me, it takes less cpu than one dynamic band in Pro Q LP

Yes its very nice sounding especially when used gently and the quality setting are cranked up as much as possible._al_ wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2024 3:30 am Btw, in case anyone doesn't know, Oek have started a rent to own plan, so you can now get Soothe 2 for £10 a month or something (forget exact amount)

A little tip: Try using quite long attack times.. something between 6 - 8 on the attack knob. This reduces distortion artifacts quite noticeably and allows you to push Soothe furthe if necessary.
Of all Soothe like plugins now out there, this is definitely the one to beat.. in my opinion.
