Manuel I love the arp and how it generates midi. I use a lot Logic Pro 11 session player any opportunity you can create something similar on the arp that would save me a lot of programming and it will be great to get inspiration beside you already figured most of it this will be great on guitars too

2.3.0 Release notes:
added:
- Avenger will now try to download a new keyfile when an expansion is imported
via drag'n drop when the current license file has not the license for the new xp yet.
- lfo cycle end mod sources ( alternate, increment 4..32)
- osc noise density parameter added, with "single click" option
- an organic noise sample can be selected as noise source
- osc noise sample pitch added.
- added option to bypass the filter and shaper process for an osc noise, the noise will be mixed to the voice at the amp position in the route
- added new modsource "Math/Incrementan N vc", which is per voice incrementing, each new voice has a new value.
- added loop start/end for wavetable envelope when its not in WT-Squencer mode.
- added osc octave divider mode to emulate old analog phase behaviour ( set osc start phase above 100% to activate )
- Hovering the mouse over the drumkit name display below the drumkit browser will show the expansion and DK Name in the DATA-Readout. ( if you forgot where it was from... )

rework:
- Macro Dials in "Snap to center" mode will set default value to center(50%) instead of 0%
- Improved preset loading times

Fixes:
- issue in Chorder Mute Main voice when Specrat Granular is used.
- DrumSlot Editor PitchRange was using a pop up menu from time scale.
- Sample Editor did display the wrong sample length when chaing wave to the corresponding played sample.
- fixed an issue with copy paste a trance gate where several paramters where not updates in the ui.
- fixed an issue with initialPath with fx preset save as function.
- "Save Preset as.." option should open in the correct last folder again. not the Filesystem Root, when the last preset or folder was moved
- drumsq: velocity y-range fixed.
- fixed crash in arp pattern copy/paste

It works in Sequoia,at least for me ,but so did 2.2. I don’t see any performance improvements in either memory use or cpu spikes though,so it’s still pretty much unusable for me in my current setup. Speaking of Current I can run 20 instances of Current and not get the RAM hit that 1 instance of Avenger,with 1 oscillator and 1 voice gives me.I realize that Avenger is complex and can have a lot going on but it doesn’t seem like it should be so taxing with a simple mono patch.

Avenger isn't complex. I own many synth such Omnisphere, Falcon, Spire, Rapid, Halion, MeldSoudnFactory, PhasePlant etc

None on them is a cpu hunger with just 2 osc , unisson, chorus and reverb.

And again... I will unistall it, this synth is unusable

It’s ridiculous. I suppose if I had 64 gigs of RAM in my MacBook I could use a few instances of it.I feel foolish for buying it again after selling it the first time but I like it and the 50 percent off sale got me. Ha

Turns out Avenger no longer works at all for me as of today. Signed out of the plugin and when I try to login it says “too many activations “. When I try to download a new key file in V man I get the same thing.I can’t use it anymore and a starting to regret buying it again.I guess it doesn’t really matter since I could barely use it anyway considering the Massive amount of memory it consumes.

Modern plugins are so feature packed. Noone on here usually talks about hardware vs. software & plugins but it really seems like things like Avenger 2 have 60 times more features than synths like the Sequential Prophet 5. So fun. But the drawback to plugins seems to be evident in charicteristic sound "qualities" not the actual quality in ways if you record 24-96.

Hi guys - more or less since the release of Avenger 2 I've been working on a soundset and it's finally ready. It's called Quantum State and is based on recordings from five different Elektron boxes. Almost 200 new sounds and I'm running a promo for it until the end of next week (10 Euro).
