Um, yes. It's pretty cool. "Another damn delay" was my first thought, with an ugly gimmicky UI and just some basic frequency shifting in a feedback loop. But I wound up zoning out while running a couple of droning oscillators through it, and especially with something like TB Equalizer Pro afterward (to separate "ambience" from "direct" as well as bringing out details and squashing the more obnoxious peaks) it's pretty great.

I tried a couple of other things in a similar patch (e.g. Sonic Charge Echobode) and couldn't really get to a similar place. There's a certain kind of lo-fi-ness to the delay that complements the rest of it pretty well. And for $20 (or free if you're either poor or a little bit of a scumbag), why not...

It's my least favorite UI of theirs, but the controls are simple enough it's not a problem and the device panel in Bitwig is enough anyway.

Dream Eater is wicked weird. Not a normal delay, for sure. I am surprised how "musical" it is once dialed in. Their other products are also very cool but I find hit or miss in terms of working into a track where-as I can see Dream Eater being more useful to give rhythmic tracks some crazy pitch vibe.

I can do this much cleaner with another delay (Spacer), but I have to give it up for these guys. The UIs and all the work they have done is fantastic. Most entertaining commerce site ever. I do think the UI of Backmask is sending me subliminal messages and find my self hypnotized by it. Pocket Dimension is fun.

This Dream Eater delay seems like it would be right at home in a Skinny Puppy recording session.

It’s clearly meant to be used by a Worlock to Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate The Process.

It really is just Love In Vein and probably Nature’s Revenge if you’re chased down by Deep Down Trauma Hounds in a Scrapyard.

Hopefully you don’t get Rabies so severely that you need to be given Last Rites. That can happen if you’re accidentally exposed to A Shore-Lined Poison.
