Any chance of a table top stand for this would be perfect for me.

As a drummer from way back, I just don't get the need for this sort of device. I guess I'm a bit of a dinosaur, but sometimes I feel there is an awful lot of reinventing the wheel just for the sake of it these days. If you want to be a drummer, learn to play the fecking drums!

a table top stand will be part of the rewards of our crowdfunding campaign :)
it's the one we're using for most internal testing and for filming videos, so it's very stable.

here's the campaign link - pre-orders are starting tomorrow, 5 PM CET, but you can already save the campaign :)

if you're happy with playing your acoustic drum set only, that's great too! but there are many (especially professional) drummers who use drum pads for additional sounds, and drumbeam has many additional features, bridging the gap between live musicians and producers.

there are plenty of "dinosaurs" reaching out to us - even drummers from some of the most popular bands in their respective genres are excited and want to try it out. these are people playing genres such as progressive rock, hard rock, funk, or acid jazz, sometimes since the 60s.

Yes, you guessed right.... :band:

And really, what you use to express your rhythm has only tangential relationship to your drumming prowess. Some of my favorites play only one drum...period. Go back far enough and the trap set was a newfangled invention.

Always felt sorry for drummers needing acoustic kits
- need to be the first on site to set it up
- and last to go and take a rest

Having models with input for kickpad and hh-pedal, you can have 2 or 3 drumbeams in a half circle
- easy to bring along, if it works for a full drum kit setup
- ready presets for various major drum modules, maybe, 2box, yamaha, roland
- combined with a midi merge box, kind of

But can it be used as full drumkit and replace pads for eDrummers?

Just having Yamaha DTXPRESS IV it takes just 1 m2 of floor space in home studio, so not for me.
- to really go for feel alone, you don't want to need to look where you are hitting
- so maybe 3 zones each unit of Drumbeam if to use that
- and you have both legs too, limited genre otherwise

Durability, I still have same pads after 16 years.
- one part of DrumBeam goes, needs rubber replacement

The flexibility seems cool on Drumbeam. Like some demos showed with range of expression for some sounds.

Creative people, good luck with sales.
