Where is the VST2 version being installed to? It doesn’t ask for a location, and it wasn’t in the usual ‘Steinberg’ folder.

Edit: For those with the same question, it defaults to Program Files/Common Files/VST2. Should have an option to choose the folder.

A synth with The Drop for filter section would sound great I bet!

It definitely provided me the option to pick the folder on Windows. Are you sure you didn't just "Next, Next, Next" your way through the installer? Check again.

Both the VST3 and VST2 plugin locations have been standardised to:
* C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
* C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2 (and a few others for VST2, but this is the one that matches the VST3)

and these are the defaults used by the installer, but you can change the paths if you want. For further information please read this:

I'm not sure if this is why, but I installed the update and now I have what (to me) is an ugly font for the parameter labels and the menu on Windows. The other fonts look fine. Is this intentional?

Just checked Mac and the font looks like it always has (like the picture on your website).

Can you please email support@cytomic.com? This should be easily resolved. Please include your OS and version, and your DAW (which will be Ableton) and version. Or if you prefer you can use the contact sheet at the web page:

Secondly, I'm not sure if this has been requested before but, I really like using TG very mildly. I was wondering if it was possible to include a small GR digital meter to indicate how much exactly is being compressed. Or just like the Threshold and Makeup knob, where when you mouse-over a number is displayed. This is just for my OCD brain. Thank you for considering my request. Have a good day!
Thanks for the suggestion! I added a mouse over label to display the RMS and Peak gain reduction in dB. I've done a beta build for macOS since I'm helping a customer with garbled strings in Cubase on macOS, so if you have a mac you can check it out here:

I'll do a Windows build once the macOS font issue is resolved.
Sorry for the late reply but this is absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much.

Things I'm interested in doing in the future include (not in any particular order): some synths, an 1176 (I have two Hairball Audio DIY Kits ready to measure and assemble), more distortion pedals, possibly a non-linear EQ, and possibly even some valve amps / eqs at some point.
Strike everything from that list except for "more distortion pedals"....please :scared:

You're welcome! In case you didn't know you can also click on the VU and a yellow peak needle will show with a little bit of hold.

I definitely did not know. I love to work with this plugin. It just keeps getting better and better. Thanks Andy.

I've spent the last couple of weeks doing a bit of R&D work getting the symbolic simplification engine updated taking care of some more difficult cases, and the results are stunning. I've applied these to The Scream with excellent results, making it lower cpu and more robust than before. After another couple videos it's time to begin work on The Glue v2, very exciting! Thanks for hanging in there everyone.
