Currently, the fingerpicking generator plays custom patterns using the piano roll. The custom patterns assigned with string numbers are played according to the piano roll.

However, it doesn't replicate the picking of a real guitar using those strings.

It would be more realistic if the string numbers in the custom pattern followed the guitar fingerboard and the fret positions. This would allow chords with different voicings to be played fingerstyle.

Could this feature be implemented?

It would greatly enhance the fingerstyle picking, making it emulate real guitar fingerpicking.

Thank you. :)

Totally agree with this request. What I have been doing so far is using GuitarPro 8 to generate MIDI files to have a library of guitar chords to use them later in my DAW.

I am not sure I understand what you want to achieve, but I think that is already possible. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I made a short video with E major chords on the master track with 4 different fingerings. I placed FingerPicking Generators in a track, and duplicated that track to show the strings and frets:

Is this what you meant?

Thanks,

I apologize for my unclear explanation.
This is precisely what I meant.
I am providing a picture of the fingerpicking chord I want to imitate, followed by a picture of the arrangement in Rapid Composer.
I hope this time I’ve explained it clearly.

Despite this arrangement, it doesn’t sound quite right. I’m providing the project file for your reference and audio files of the Chords for your reference.

Play the Chord in the project file and check the respective audio file.

I’m providing an external link for the files, as I encountered an error uploading them here.
