Just got from one of customers:

"We have received your request regarding the repurchase of licenses, however, we have not received a refund from Digital River My Commerce.

They informed us that the refund is not possible because the publisher account associated with our subscription has been terminated (message attached).

While waiting for this refund, we cannot proceed with a new purchase of licenses."

and this is email that they got from DigitalRiver:

"Thank you for contacting MyCommerce.

We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your refund request for XXXX because the publisher account associated with your subscription has been terminated.

Please contact the publisher directly with your request at:"

This is really crazy, they are stealing our money and we cannot do anything. I really do not understand that.
Btw. refund was triggered on 23/10 and we requested termination of our account on 1st of November.
Interestingly some customers received money.

Almost the same thing here as noted in my previous message, refund was issued on 24.10 for an order from August and account was supposed to be closed before the end of October. All settings were reset at that time, all products deleted and they even closed access to control panel when I tried logging last week. They are not paying us. They are not returning money to end users.
They are robbing us with "support" time although we did not accept new MSA terms. This is criminal behavior.

I refunded on 22/23 October, some customers recieved money some didn't. Around 50% did not respond at all.

What if MyCommerce shows these orders as refunded in October report and they did not actually refund end users.

Refunds were confirmed by email and end users received credit note but for some users they obviously did not realized the refund. I have no confirmation from all users, though.

I received September reports today and refunds that were made in October for orders from September were not included in these reports.

If you requested immediate termination of your account before October 16th, you are not subject to the support charges. My 2 cents.

(I'm in the same situation, and if they try to bill me for the support tickets, I will definitely dispute it.)

Same situation here. I did not receive that invoice for platform and support fees which was delivered on 01.11 as some reported. I was trying to close accounts since September. After third request in late October they finally did reset accounts and deleted products but I did not receive any formal note about termination so far.

So no invoice for October but also no official confirmation for account termination. I will of course dispute any platform fees and criminal AI support fees. Last order via platform was made on 4th of October so no sales were made after 16th (under new MSA).

And that is also my fear but I hope that customers who received credit note but did not receive money will contact us to ask what is going on. Not sure if we can tell them to ignore those credit notes, at the end, this is between Digital River and customers but this will certainly create mess.

There's no way they can avoid a chargeback if initiated by the card holder.

What if they do not have money on bank account?

I have just spoken to one particular customer who ordered a license on October 3rd, and I refunded it on October 22nd. Current status is:

- I received the refund notification from DR.
- He did not receive a credit note.
- He did not receive the money.
(- I cannot check the state in Control Panel as my account is locked.)

Assuming he's telling the truth, I conclude that we will have cases where DR claims to have refunded the customers, but in fact have not.

Also, it is unclear if those who say they haven't received the money have at least the credit note or not.

If they have the credit note, but not the money, I think they should initiate a chargeback after a reasonable waiting time. If in doubt, they can just show the credit note to their bank or PayPal.

Will have to send out a few e-mails again, I'm afraid. Unfortunately I have some customers who don't reply to my mails at all.

I requested termination of my account, and they chose to lock me out of Control Panel, even though the (old an new) MSA say it would be open for another 2 months after termination.

Check the previous pages, it happend to a lot of people that their accounts were locked last week.

I am also receiving a bunch of angry emails from users who haven't received their refund and have already made another purchase. Some of them have started doing chargebacks with my new MOR registrar, and I received a notification that my 2checkout account is temporarily blocked because the number of chargebacks exceeded 10%!!! It looks like I acted like a complete idiot and panicked with these refunds - there's no money from MyСommerce, users haven't received their refunds, I now owe money to users, my 2checkout account is blocked due to the high number of chargebacks, and Digital River has also blocked my account. It would have been easier to do nothing. My business is completely ruined!

I refunded a dozen big orders in mid October.
Most customers got money and order again. I insisted they only order once they got the money on the bank.
So far I got it mostly right. But we have customers, who didn't get money back.

And without termination, I still got locked out of my account.

Totally bad situation and this sense that I/we cannot do anything is what puts me in realy bad mood. I still do not understand that there are no charges against them as I cannot imagine that this would not be converted into clear criminal intentions.

As outcome of this who knows how many companies will go down as a consequence and they'll end-up clean and with our money in their pockets.
