Really really hoping that Waldorf put the Microwave 1 VST on sale for Black Friday.
From what I can tell they did a BF sale last year, so fingers are crossed.
It will replace my 3rd Wave keyboard, which I’m gonna sell (the better I get at production, the more I realised that ITB is king (for me, an mbp user).
So far this week: I’ve picked up Vintageverb (which wasn’t on sale), Gforce OB-1 (which is AMAZING) and Rhodes Anthology.
Also going to pick up: Oeksound Bloom which goes on sale in a few weeks, and hopefully the aforementioned Microwave 1 vst.

If I didn't have them already, GForce would be at the very top of my list. I love their stuff.
The sale is on: https://www.gforcesoftware.com/products/

I can strongly recommend Phase Plant; the whole ecosystem of snap-ins are awesome and many great ones are in the free bundle. And it's just so easy to use.
I really, really recommend Multipass too - overall it is one of the most useful plugins I have.

I kind of dismissed the whole Augmented thing as just another rompler, a way to release "content" without much DSP development, etc. I'm not super thrilled about sample-based instruments for the most part, aside from maybe a Mellotron or other lo-fi weirdness once in a while.
But Augmented Voices at least seems pretty good for eerie ambient stuff. I'm at least going to try Woodwinds and Strings, now that I've already paid for the whole pile.

The Augmented piano is actually very good for that also. Especially if you use sparse minimal notesfoosnark wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 4:06 pmI kind of dismissed the whole Augmented thing as just another rompler, a way to release "content" without much DSP development, etc. I'm not super thrilled about sample-based instruments for the most part, aside from maybe a Mellotron or other lo-fi weirdness once in a while.

Some 90% off offers and I don't understand why they don't give it away for free?
I mean, you get 90% off, it's almost 100 %, but you still have to do all steps as if you buy full price!?
First you have to create an account, verify email adress by login in into your email account and finding dev's email, sometimes in spam folder.,
push"buy", go to basket, they want your name and address, then proceed to checkout, then choose how to pay, either credit card data or paypal, login to paypal, confirm, redirected to dev's homepage, place order, receive email with serial number, download plugin, install plugin, enter somewhere serial number or sometimes you download keyfile or you have to login into iLok License manager or or or
So many things to do for a plugin that is 90 off!!!!
Is this customer - friendly?
And devs get a lot of data from you.
Imagine dev knocks on your door one day just to check whether you installed his plugin correctly or to find out how you use it or he asks for more money, cuz 90% off...
imagine he knocks just when you watch some series or eat pizza!
