I love Ozone but it doesn't tell you things like : your HH is too loud. You need human feedback. I did my last track solely in Ozone. I did use the AI, but that's only meant as a starting point.

For Ozone is it an online or a AI mastering plugin you used?osiris wrote: Thu Nov 07, 2024 2:46 pm I love Ozone but it doesn't tell you things like : your HH is too loud. You need human feedback. I did my last track solely in Ozone. I did use the AI, but that's only meant as a starting point.

Yeah, I can definitely recommend at least getting a couple of tracks mastered by a professional who gives feedback and advice and is willing to explain the process they used. I master my own stuff (no AI) but my results got a lot better after that bit of education.cryophonik wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 6:58 pm For me, some of the best value I've had from working with human ME's has been their feedback on my mixes. My home studio has far from ideal acoustics, so my mixes are generally problematic. The few ME's I've worked with have given me some excellent advice on specific fixes to make to my mixes before they started the mastering (rather than turd-polishing) process. You won't get that with an AI mastering service, so that alone was worth the cost and effort of using a real ME.
I've been considering doing it again to see what happens.

Ozone Basic has a listen AI mode. It's hit and miss. Sometimes it will say a track is Rock, but you can switch to EDM with a click. It will create a rack that it thinks suits your song, you go from there. It's also very bad at True Peak. I set it at -1 (for Spotify) and I get -0.8. And it will try and put the LUFS at 7, but you can also set that a little saner.Drumheater wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 11:31 pmFor Ozone is it an online or a AI mastering plugin you used?osiris wrote: Thu Nov 07, 2024 2:46 pm I love Ozone but it doesn't tell you things like : your HH is too loud. Aside:
Remember this one?

It's so funny to me that it's labeled as a master limiter.
But it's good as a channel saturator / compressor.
Back to the conversation now... I just had to throw that in. LOL
If you've ever used it then you know why it's funny.
