time to play another round of "satire or serious"DCrown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 7:46 pm Some 90% off offers and I don't understand why they don't give it away for free?
I mean, you get 90% off, it's almost 100 %, but you still have to do all steps as if you buy full price!?
First you have to create an account, verify email adress by login in into your email account and finding dev's email, sometimes in spam folder.,
push"buy", go to basket, they want your name and address, then proceed to checkout, then choose how to pay, either credit card data or paypal, login to paypal, confirm, redirected to dev's homepage, place order, receive email with serial number, download plugin, install plugin, enter somewhere serial number or sometimes you download keyfile or you have to login into iLok License manager or or or
So many things to do for a plugin that is 90 off!!!!
Is this customer - friendly?
And devs get a lot of data from you.
Imagine dev knocks on your door one day just to check whether you installed his plugin correctly or to find out how you use it or he asks for more money, cuz 90% off...
imagine he knocks just when you watch some series or eat pizza!
What's on your Black Friday radar?

Where can one find the best Fabfilter discounts? I've realised that Saturn has the functionality I've been trying to find elsewhere.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

If they were really so close to a pre-Black Friday release + first sale in a decade you don't think they would have said so by now? Especially with all these other companies offering "early Black Friday deals" with an early deadline trying to get our Black Friday money ASAP....robindrieghe wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 6:20 am serum 2 with a nice introductory offer as it recently had its 10th birthday.

responding late to this, but total agreement, V-Collection should have remianed about vintage emulations, the Play series orchestral ROMplers are a huge WTF? especially since it makes the exclusion of Pigments that much more puzzling.

I've been checking out the Revoice Pro 5 demo in PT with ARA2 and I think it just made the BF wish list. It's a dream combo for processing vocals.

I wonder why JRR Shop excluded all Eduardo Tarilonte libraries. I would have loved to pick up one or two of them on BF.

they are just sample packs/presets based on the Pigments engine. It's a way to include pigments without including pigments. My guess because Pigments is such a bargain and since they have updated pigments for free so many times, that pretty much everyone who would be interested in V Collection X already has Pigments, and if you don't you can take advantage of the Black Friday deal to get both at a pretty incredible pricemachinesworking wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 9:42 am

If you don't like them just ignore them and you still get a a huge variety of vintage synths
I do wish however that Arturia just had a single Augmented instrument that all is the samples and presets would load into

Minifreak was my main reason for finally buying V Collection. (I guess V Collection XI will also include Minibrute.)machinesworking wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 9:42 am responding late to this, but total agreement, V-Collection should have remianed about vintage emulations, the Play series orchestral ROMplers are a huge WTF? especially since it makes the exclusion of Pigments that much more puzzling.
It does seem like a weird choice to include Augmented ____ but not Pigments. It works for me though -- I used to have Pigments and sold it. And I'd have never bought the Augmented stuff itself, but now that I have them I find them useful.

I am the exact same way, this update was mainly to get Minifreak. I am finding the Augmented Piano to be extremely useful and has some wonderful presets, and I don't really do much with sound design with Piano patches anyway to want to try to design them in Pigmentsfoosnark wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 1:32 pm Minifreak was my main reason for finally buying V Collection. Between Augmented Piano and the updated Piano V, I am have every thing Piano I could ever want
Myth with the new Resynthesis engine is also on my radar. I imagine sampling any of the Augmented instruments and dropping them into Myth to be resynthesized will sound pretty amazing, I know they sound good dropping them into HALion7's resynthesis engine
