Feeding Bruxa into Erbe-Verbe and then modulating Erbe-Verbe's Absorb, Decay, and Bruxa's Filter + Decay.
Of course, Time on Bruxa and more fun with Speed controls on Erbe+Verb to alternate between chorusing + pitched decays.
This thing is insane!

ill have to give that a try, thanks

I honestly don't get the appeal of a single VCO, EG, VCF poly unless they are Behringer levels of inexpensivecryophonik wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2024 5:22 am IMG_0081.png

This probably won’t be available until the “2025: A Year In Gear” thread, but Dreadbox and Sinevibes collaborating on a sorta 6-voice polyphonic Typhon gets a bigfrom me.

I see now, I should have looked at the details before judging the tiny picture. Sweetwater says two EGs, one simpler one for the VCA, also, there are two filters, one dedicated high pass, which is what I consider the minimum. Still, at $1399, it's not cheap. If they do MPE well I suppose that's a selling point for some. A lot of tension about all of this in the comments elsewhere.
I don't think that there really is, but that's sort of my point. Behringer has made it so that I'm not really into simplistic synths from other vendors. Ok, it's not as simplistic as I initially thought, and, it has a few nice features that I like and perhaps a few more that aren't clear to me that might be cool. That said, it still has shared controls for the EGs, which I absolutely hate. I didn't buy a deep mind for that reason alone.cryophonik wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2024 2:50 am I have no problem with the price tag, especially not from a small boutique brand like Dreadbox. Aside from a few Behringers, I’m finding it hard to think of another 6-voice analog module on the market priced at or below $1399, especially not with those specs (not to mention the sound!). The Take 5 and TEO-5 include a nice keyboard, but cost more and have one less voice, so that tradeoff makes them an attractive value at a slightly higher price (I have a TEO-5 and love it). Novation Peak has more voices, but costs a lot more and has doesn’t have VCOs. The Minilogue XD is a great value for a lot less, but only 4 voices, which is a deal breaker for many people. What are the other options in that price range?
The time inputs are fun to play with and I didn’t really think of doing something similar with Strega because I often approach it as a synth voice first, then effect. I also don’t have Tempi running into Strega so this is like something completely new.vurt wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2024 7:41 pmill have to give that a try, thanks
even just a guitar, straight in, with modulation on everything!!! with my cack handed playing, sounds awesome!!!
Of course, Time on Bruxa and more fun with Speed controls on Erbe+Verb to alternate between chorusing + pitched decays.
the range on time is definitely a bit wider than my strega (i know they have some variation anyway), if i go to the lowest point, the clicks and pops are much more spacious.
will have to try more comparisons to be sure, but thats my initial thoughts.
This thing is insane!

I have Tempi going into the first two inputs, then a cycled Maths going into the 3rd. Tempi’s 2nd out is mod swapped timing. CV outs are connected to Erbe-Verb’s Size and Decay. I think I should have done absorb here, but still this is fun.
This is just Rene->STO (Sine)->QMMG->Bruxa->Erbe-Verb and then out. Super simple but super noisy!

Finally got one for £450, should pair nicely with my TR-8S
