Wow, those are some generous upgrade prices. Unfortunately for me, I sold my Nexus 2 and dozens of licenses a long time ago. But if there’s an early bird offer, I might need to consider it again….

of course, but this editor for in house sound designers it looked like a Windows 95 App.zvenx wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2024 1:42 pm I imagine that part has always been there just only now available commercially so it isn't' a tack on.

After a lot of work, we now managed to bring all this complexity (64 oscs, 16 layer, tons of routing back and forth into a GUI, which is suitable for the consumer. Actually, this is important, since no one would have understood the old editor program. Maybe I´ll post a screenshot some day.
there are many more new features... fx, synthesis modules etc etc. TBA

The game 'Scorn'. I waited years for that thing and uninstalled it after 15 min.noiseboyuk wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2024 6:43 am Well that's it. Everyone's favourite ROMpler to scorn has completed the transition to it being a synth.
What do we scorn now?

Yes - you can see all the patches in the librarian are from the N5 core library. And there's quite a lot between Mongoy and Muted Multitaps, so it should be fairly substantial.

Good point. I just noticed that on left (of the image) it says 1.1K besides N5 Factory Presets, so over 1000 presets. That's impressive!noiseboyuk wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2024 5:53 pmYes - you can see all the patches in the librarian are from the N5 core library. Thanks for the information.
I love this vst, I've had so many reviews on the subject and yet it's an excellent product.
Just like with ReFx, too often criticize for little.
Had quite a bit of contact with them at the time and was always most cordial, friendly and professional.
Can’t wait for Nexus 5.
Really delighted and very happy that ReFx continues to develop this great vst.
A big thank you to them.

AI would only be helpful if you owned all the Nexus expansions so the AI engine had a decent sample set to play with and generate results.
Upgrade price is nice, I'll probably get upgraded from Nexus2 to Nexus 5 in December. be nice to play with those older expansions and sounds, ben years since I have had it loaded. Good job reFx. what was once old is now gunna be new again.

Why should you make your own music? A.I. can definitely do that.....
Venus Theory released an interesting video on the subject of A.I. and intellectual property rights. Well worth a watch.
