Couldn't believe the interface still doesn't scale or support hi-dpi on Mac.
The only thing good here is at least $29 is reasonable. No matter how many new toys are included, I hate when upgrades are 75% of the cost originally, or the sale price is the same as the upgrade.

Maschine is hardware as well but the point remains, at least the crap upgrade is cheap I guess? :-?

why is it so black? who designed the gui, riddick?

I feel the same. While I am really happy to see some life in Maschine, this update felt quite underwhelming. But stem separation will surely be appreciated by many. I just wished for more refinement in the core operation.

Yeah it's too dark and contrast are too high ...it's like driving a car at night and light that blur your vision...

Apparently 80% of users love the new UI colors, personally I think that is double speak bullshit.
Duh

I can understand all complains, but personally I like new update. I use Maschine as drum maschine plugin in my DAW and editing was cumbersom. Now it is better, but I agree there is much to be desired.

Agreed. How would they know that 80% of users like the new UI. Didn’t it just come out? Was this based on the user response to a screenshot? I don’t understand where that number came from

Also 80% of users must be blind if they can’t see the blurry text and aliasing on the icons.

But the blind have better ears!

So do the mk3 sl keyboards support the new maschine software integration?

Post

Still not sure if I should get the update. 29€ isn't that much.

And many complain that it's too much for so little features they wanted to have, but when you buy the update to 3.0, you'll also get all the upcoming 3.x updates. I hope (NI stated it somewhere) that there's now future development going on (again).

Do you know which features they're working on for the next updates? Will the price of the update stay at € 29?

No, sorry.

Partly, the integration is there for transport and plugin control but the browser and mixer are still to be added - it's a lot less 'basic' than it could have been and actually does support NKS2 features on MKIII keyboards, although annoyingly Maschine still does not support aftertouch which is really dumb imho. It is on the cards though apparently

I wouldn't buy it then. Just wait until it offers enough new features and improvements.

i didn't read that, but we had a survey in the beta before release candidate, the result was :

75-80% would be happy if this version is the release and the update cost 29 €
50% would be happy if this version is the release and the update cost 99 €
