if your not on os 14.4+ the update will not appear in the app store. even on 14.4 i had to search logic pro in the app store click the app after i searched it and then the update appeared.

Sooo I’m having a lot of issues with the mixer tracks movement. I’m just trying to reorder the auxs in my template and I go to move stuff and the first few the rows move out of the way to let them drop but the second I go 3 tracks right or left or more it just stops and won’t float the other tracks out of the way no matter what I do. If I drop them when the other tracks aren’t making room it just puts them back to where they were when I started. But I can’t get the tracks to do the hover make room thing. Does that make sense? bit of a morning ramble for me.

Are you clicking and holding the mixer tracks for a moment until they sort of pop out? It has to go 1.select 2. click 3. hold for a sec or two 4. move.

Yes, that's a huge improvement to me! Maybe I'm alone here, but the new BIP options are equally huge improvements. I still have that workflow built into my muscle memory from previous DAWs, so it's good to finally see it work similarly in Logic.

Yeah what I’m talking about is the movement behavior after you click and hold and the track pops out. When it kinda floats above. The behavior I described above is post click and hold. When it’s already floating. It’s broken the majority of the time for me on my setup. Going to try a new template later from scratch and see if it’s just bugged with my template.

.. and is based on the actual original code. Why? Because Apple bought the IP! It's pretty amazing that for the price of Logic Pro you now get a 4000$ + 2500$ reverb bundle included. The value of Logic Pro is completely insane.

I got the popup the other day for Logic iPad as well. sure wish it wasn't subscription o I'd have that for my iPad. Korg Gadget and Steinberg Cubasis on iPad fills my needs currently. really would be nice for Logic but just can't do that subscriptioin thing.

loving Logic 11.1 even though I have MacBook Pro with intel chip so don't get the new silicon plugins to play with.

I use Logic mainly for video post audio, but now I want to try and make music with (or Cubase if I go back to it ).
