Yeah, you could do simple stuff with the controls available on the interface. But never anything deeper than that.
Neon City for u-he Repro - 80s pop & Synthwave soundbank
HARDWARE SAMPLER FANATIC - Akai S1100/S950/Z8 - Casio FZ20m - Emu Emax I - Ensoniq ASR10/EPS

Can someone please ask refx to start their discounted sales already. I've started spending money and I don't want to be caught out of budget by the time Nexus goes on sale :D

Damn, it looks like its got that same draggable / zoom interface for the routing that 4.5 introduced, which I find really clunky to use. :scared:

no it "feels" much better

ReFX Nexus 5 gives me zebra's semi modular approach vibes. Am i alone?

Therefore im amazed we have Nexus 5 and yet we dont have a screenshot of Zebra 3 :-D and unlike zebra 3 it wasnt announced 10 years ago :-D

I wonder why the don't make the 'layer' orientation horizontal instead of top to bottom. So:

Lane 1: OSC, Modulators, FX
Lane 2: OSC, Modulators, FX
Lane 3: OSC, Modulators, FX

When you click on any lane, the lane is selected and is made apparent by a highlight border around the chain AND the entirety of that chain is scrollable from top to bottom in the detail window pain on the right which shows all the controls you can edit.

Better UX if you ask me.

Can't help but notice that CPU is at 21%.

Does that mean that this 'opening up' comes at the cost of cpu usage ?

That screenshot was from a debug build I was running. The release version should have very similar cpu usage to N4.

That's comforting, thank you :tu:

If we ever ban people, it's because they are either:
  1. highly disrespectful: calling us names, making threats (we've received death threats against us and our entire family), making baseless accusations
  2. extremely unreasonable: expect everything for free, don't understand how government-enforced sanctions work, refuse to accept any responsibility for their own actions/decisions
  3. acting in bad faith: trying actively to harm us, extort us by posting the same negative stuff in all forums, Facebook, etc.
I won't go into detail for each case here, as that would just give bad faith or unreasonable actors more ammunition for future posts and videos.

I find the behavior of publicly trying to shame a company over years and years, mentioning it whenever I can, in every (un)related post, etc., quite strange. I'd rather spend my time creating awesome products and improving existing ones.

To clarify point 3: With extort, I mean the word's literal meaning. They tell us beforehand, quite mafia-like: If you don't do what I want, I will post about my bad experience on all forums, Facebook, Twitter/X, and my personal website, etc.

We had cases where people already did that and then offered to remove it if we relented.

I was just looking at my account at your site. Bought Vangaurd in 2004. Nothing but great experiences with you all since then.

It's cool that they're opening up the editing experience. I wonder how close the synth editor they're exposing is to the one they had their sound designers using over time. I'm curious to see what the internal editing experience is like. It would be pretty interesting if their sound design team actually did a couple tutorials or a video walking through their workflow.

This is just so overwhelming how some people act and then are surprised they get banned. And it is easy for others to start blaming the company without knowing what have been going on before the ban.
