Plugin Alliance has lost a lot of its vibe since Dirk left.

they make waves look good lol. I think I'd pick the Renaissance series over PA any day.

Every time I've run into these guys on the YouTubes, they're shilling a PA plugin. Have they ever had a negative opinion on one of PA's offerings?

Yes, this new Lindell MU compressor was not their cup of tea.billinder33 wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 5:56 pmEvery time I've run into these guys on the YouTubes, they're shilling a PA plugin. Have they ever had a negative opinion on one of PA's offerings?

I find them pretty good, even this one he says 'if you don't know you need it you probably don't need it.'billinder33 wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 5:56 pmEvery time I've run into these guys on the YouTubes, they're shilling a PA plugin. Have they ever had a negative opinion on one of PA's offerings?
I can see it being useful, I don't have anything else that does this in one plugin, and I'll probably demo it when it's 30 bucks. I was expecting more of a multiband Blackbox tbh. Maybe this can do a bit of that?

Do these guys actually try the plugins they "review"? The video for this plugin doesn't give the impression tbh. They trash talk for 5 minutes then the left guy reads the product description to the right guy which apparently has never heard of it before

The best part is always their "trash talk". Really funny. The plugins? Who cares. We all have enough of them.

Yeah, there should be laws against it at this point, so you poor guys don't get lured into threads like these and get offended by possibly even ending up looking at the product descriptions even though you have absolutely no interest in it since it's almost 2025 for crying out loud. I'm totally with you all the way here guys - come to think of it's time to take matters into our own hands. Let me just quickly grab some tar and feathers and I'll be with you in a sec to show these darn developers what is and isn't appropriate these days!Funky40 wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 8:05 pm+1 !musicproducerdee wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 9:51 am So, it's almost 2025, we're still doing analog emulations?
