I was hoping UVI would have a good sale on their soundbanks now that I have Falcon. Looks like they're "only" doing 30% off. The Internet says they've done 50% off in the past. Now I'm on the fence about picking up Glass Orchestra.

I think it was 50% a few weeks ago when they released an update.

Interested in wave alchemy instrument bundle but their prices are in pounds an not in Euros. 99 pounds is good but 99 euros would be better...

Also, having other stuff from Arturia I got a very tempting offer from them for V Collection X.... Very tempting...

I was thinking of getting all the arturia software that I don't have. Upgrading to the latest V collection and then getting the full FX bundle (which I don't have) is 148 dollars. Seems kind of like overkill though. I already have lots of software. I may just do the synths and skip the FX. I've not used much of the arturia FX up till now. I can't think of much I'm missing out on. Really it just seems like a good deal.

Two weeks to go till BF and I've got Black Friday Burnout already.
In most threads I say I've got everything I need and am satisfied with my setup.
But there's so many good deals it's enough to wear you down.

Speaking of wearing you down, I'm considering wearables, either a haptic vest or a haptic strap. The vest is supposed to be a way more immersive experience but I know myself well enough to know it's just going to get thrown in the gizmo drawer most of the time and the strap will take up less space there.

Yep I'm mostly over at vi-control looking at orchestral stuff and it's giving me anxiety with all the amazing sales. You ask about product A vs B, both on sale, and someone comes in with "don't forget about C, D and E" and all of *those* are on sale.

Wait to see what EastWest is doing on November 27.

Synth-wise, I'm almost hoping Synapse doesn't have a sale. I don't need Legend HZ, I have other moog emulations, Diva and others. I want Legend HZ.

The only music software I've got on my radar for BF is Pianoteq and probably some expansions.

I'm not sure if I'll see a BF sale on either of these, but I've also got my eye on:

- SSL UF1 - I got my hands on one of these recently and really want one for use in Logic and PT

- Davinci Speed Editor w/Resolve Studio - OK, not exactly "music gear" per se, but I use it primarily for making music videos, so close enough. I've been using a combination of FCPX and the free version of Resolve, but I think I want to upgrade to the Studio version and use it for everything, and it's bundled with the Speed Editor for not a whole lot more $$$.

No, the reviews and tutorials I've seen have all said that it can't be used outside of Resolve and none of the keys can be remapped.
