Hi guys,
I tried to recreate a 'simple' rolling techno/trance bassline but I cant get the vibe right.
I exported 2 bars for you:

Tempo is 130bpm and I believe the key is F or F#.

I tried it with Serum using different layering of wavetables etc. but I cant get the vibe right. Is it a Square wave or FM synthesis?
Please help me it drives me crazy.

Post a bassline that you're trying to emulate.

Sure. Its just the tonality which I cant get.

You mean my attempts? If you mean the original its hosted on the google drive. Its the rolling mid bass.

couldnt get closer than this. I tried again, I cant identify how to get this vibe.... It drives me nuts.
