Recently picked up Myth and Kult (purchased on Tracktion's website, so the developer gets the maximum revenue, and the price is the same as the resellers). Now, I need to a day off to explore these two very interesting synths with novel workflows. I'll probably be back to this thread multiple times as I start to get confused and have questions. :? :help:

Even when a plugin company starts a sale... wait. Because if you wait, the sale may end up later on a distributor site with a discount. Such as the case with Myth. I held of waiting to see if the distributors would get it... and they did! Some nice discounts out there now on MYTH.
Hey there! Wanna know an even better trick? 😊

When you buy directly from the manufacturer instead of a distributor, you're actually supporting the people who create the plugins you love in a much more impactful way. Distributors often take a significant portion of the revenue, which leaves much less for us to invest back into developing and improving our products.

The thing is, the value distributors add is often minimal! If you ever spot a better deal through a distributor, feel free to reach out to the manufacturer directly. Nine times out of ten, they'll be happy to match (or even beat!) that deal. Plus, you can rest easy knowing your support goes straight to the folks crafting the tools you enjoy.

Thanks for supporting indie plugin makers like us! 🙌

Need? No

But I'd recommend to have a look! Of course: everything you can do in Zyklop, you can also do in Myth. Yet it feels different - the limited amount of choices makes it feel quicker workflow.

Also it comes with more than 100 new presets by top sound designers - and Zyklop presets can be loaded in Myth.
Don't say more, I am downloading already :tu:

Roll on Friday so I can try Zyklop

I'm all for giving the developer a greater share of the income from sale of a product, but having to personally ask Tracktion/Dawesome for a discount to match a reseller's price sets up an uncomfortable encounter. Many of us have restricted budgets for buying software, and we depend on sales to get what we want, and we're willing to wait. It would be helpful if Tracktion/Dawesome would set up a way on its own site to honor discounted prices found elsewhere. Offering a code to KVR fans, for instance, would be helpful. Or I've seen some sites simply promise a price match, and the buyer points out what the price is elsewhere in a little screen at the point of purchase. Otherwise, it's hard to talk me out of the $75 discount price offered at JRR.
