vital 1.5.5 crashing

I have an older 14yr pc, with win 10. I've never had a problem with Vital before until I updated to 1.5.5. It now crashes as soon as I try to change a preset. It loads fine, will play fine with what initially loads, though as soon as I go to change a preset it closes. Any advice or insight on this ?

Maybe Vital is not the problem then. Have you updated your DAW?

Another option would be, to manually remove all Vital files and then try to reinstall the older version.

Daw is Studio One 6 with the latest updates. And yes I deleted all files and went through all older versions all the way back to 1.0

Any other options ?

Check your screencard driver, a windows 10 update could have messed it up or your file folder permissions where the synth saves its presets, an Windows10 or Windows Defender update could have interfered with the settings perhaps.. try and roll back your latest windows 10 updates.. that could help. Conspiracy. More or less a gossip. He disappeared from the forums and stopped support exactly when Duda announced Serum 2. And btw, I heard that Dave Gamble is developing filters for Serum 2.
