MIDI controlled gate or envelope?

Hi folks,

I'm looking for an envelope (gate) audio plugin that i can control with MIDI.

So when it receives the first note on message, it will open the envelope or gate over the assigned attack period (rise time), and when it receives the last note off, it will move to the release stage.

I've been searching the interwebs but can find no such effect.

Any ideas? ..... Thanks!

Melda MTremolo can do that, with its advanced modulation (which takes some learning). I'm pretty sure you'd have to upgrade the free version to the full version with the modulators added. Now is a good time for that with the Black Friday discount being available.

Melda plugins can almost all do this via modulating the input or output gain. Most synths that have an FX mode or sidechain input Can do this. Zebrify, pigments, etc etc etc. there are many many simple gate plugins and trance gate plugins that have a midi trigger mode. Dfx skidder is one I use for this often. It's all about there and is also simple to put together in pure data, Reaktor, Max, Synth Edit, Flowstone, Bitwig's internal mod system and so on.
