And you completely miss the point again. You'd make a great politician the way you dance around the subject without actually addressing it.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Fri Nov 22, 2024 4:35 pm Our EULA is always available on our Legal page, like I said and I pointed out that it is 30 years from any update. Sorry if that does not work for you, I'll relay your concerns and IK has multiple methods of direct contact listed on the IK web site too if you'd like to voice your concern directly as well.

I don't address legal questions or other/similar topics that are not in my area of responsibility or expertise (I'm certainly not a lawyer, I definitely didn't write our EULA) at IK, if you go down any of those roads you have been pointed in the right direction.Mr Arkadin wrote: Fri Nov 22, 2024 6:47 pmAnd you completely miss the point again. I wasn't asking you to address the legal issues, but the issue of IK's transparency about announcing changes in the EULA, not what the EULA actually contains (which I appreciate is outside your remit).
It's the presentation of the changes, i.e. the usual unread small print where it's difficult to see what has changed as much will be the same versus the company making an announcement of such changes (say in the Announcements section of IK's forum).

Don't forget the word salads! World salads are all the rage in politics these days.Mr Arkadin wrote: Fri Nov 22, 2024 6:47 pmAnd you completely miss the point again. TBH the Melda stuff that comes with FL does the same. If you don't let it check the plugins will come up dark with error messages. I suppose they shoved the EULA into the Install process, which is a major gripe for me. When I'm installing, I don't have the patience to read (sometimes) pages of legalese. I think EULAs should come as a separate doc. Kind of like when I buy Vocal sample packs. Simple straightforward license agreement pops up without courtroom language that tells you what's what.
