Thanks, this one looks cool, I like your idea of playing with Chain and Info panel colors so they merge into one area and don't draw much attention, so the focus stays on the matrix and the left panel.robert_p wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:41 amHi, I attached my "Midnight" color themegraywolf2004 wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:01 am Any requests about which another colors do you want BlueARP to have?

Do you mind if I include you theme into my 'factory' skins pack? I'd call it 'Robert P: Midnight' or the other way of you like.robert_p wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:41 amHi, I attached my "Midnight" color themegraywolf2004 wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:01 am Any requests about which another colors do you want BlueARP to have?

Some info on my BlueARP 2024 Christmas update. I was really working hard on this one - it has a big update for BlueARP plugin (windows & mac) and BlueARP DM. For BlueARP DM, had to rework almost all low-level USB library, cause USB-MIDI sync with the control app was terrible, too many chechsum errors and indtability. But so far so good, looks like I will make it before Christmas, hopefully next weekend I will roll out the release.

Change log for v2.7.0
1. GUITAR MODE (new operation mode, in addition to 'arpeggiator' and 'drum sequencer'.
BlueARP can now sequence guitar rythm parts. The Manual will be updated in the next release.
Key points: in Guitar mode, BlueARP models guitar chords for the standard tuning 6-string guitar,
taking into account various limitations (like when you play D chord, you have only 4 sounding strings).
For each step you can define strum type, delays between the notes (strum speed), strum direction (up/down),
velocity spread between the notes and some other settings.
This mode is yet experimental, it may change a bit in the next releases
2. FIXED ARP MODE - another opetation mode, just like 'arpeggiator' but you set the input keys as constants on
a per-program basis. The idea is to remove the need to play chords for the arp parts where you don't need chord change.
This mode is yet experimental, it may change a bit in the next releases
3. Updated skins, improved GUI:
- new params in 'ini skins file, it is now possible to disable outline for the value boxes
(box_FlagNoOutline), redesigned them a bit for more modern look (box_FlagNewStyle param);
- corner rounding raduis for various elements (*RoundR params in skins ini file);
- dicreased font size for param captions, to make the GUI bit less cluttered;
- 'P/B' mark for the params can be hidden, they show up only on mouse over (gui_FlagHidePBMarks param),
also to make the GUI a bit more cleanl
4. Fixed occasional GUI bug when parts of the GUI could disappear until you hover the mouse over them
(mostly happened with the BlueARP DM control app)
5. New factory banks for Drum mode and Guitar mode, yet only about 30% ready, you can download separately
from my website www.omg-intsruments.com
Known issues in v2.7.0
1. In guitar mode, when 'capo' param is above zero, some chords will sound wrong. Will be fixed in v2.7.1
early 2025
2. 'restart on' = key logic is quite convoluted and should be reworked, doesn't work well for the guitar mode,
will be updated in 2.7.1. In 2.7.0 I did most of the resting with 'restart on' = beat 0

So the big changes for the plugin are 2 new modes - guitar strumming mode (which almost makes BlueARP another plugin, like with the drum mode I added earlier). Also new 'arp, fixed input' mode but this is basically a minor variation of the default 'arpeggiator' operation mode, where you don't need to play different chords and can set a fixed input key combination.
A lot of efforts went into refining USB sync for the BlueARP DM and the control app. Although there are not much BlueARP DM users in the world, but there are some and they will benefit from it, including myself, I'm going to use BlueARP DM with my old Surface Pro tablet, the control app now can open full screen and so BlueARP DM can be programmed with a convenience of a touch screen interface.

Thanks! Unfortunately it won't show up in Studio One Pro 7 (latest) VST3 (I don't use VST2). That is, the plugin is listed but I can't use it.
