My personal fav bit crusher / sample rate reducer is chipcrusher from Plogue, but Digitalis and Lossy are also great. Ghz copy protection is pretty easy, the first time you load the plugin, it asks you to login into the account you created on their website, but they also have offline authorization if you don't want to do that. You can email their tech support with a challenge code and they'll email you back a response code, and they respond pretty fast.
