This is really cool!!! Thank YOU so much.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

I have a question. If you use your own samples to make a preset, is the sound stored in the preset, or do you need to make the samples available in a seperate folder if you intend to share the presets?

I finally got off my buns and grabbed zyklop. It's very very fun. Also liking the new resynthesis. It's a beast for lovely pads. Unfortunately it's still pretty hard on the CPU for my workflow. It would be cool to see a mode where the onboard resampling spits out a WAV file to drop wherever. It makes me want to get back in Myth but I don't think my poor computer can hang just yet.
Thanks dawesome!!! Is there any kind of handy place for sharing presets? I might make a pile of MPE sounds to try and give something back to the children.... Happy Thanksgiving folks.

You can. Play a note and then drag and drop a wave file into your daw from the little squiggly arrow in the bottom left cornerAh_Dziz wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2024 9:57 pm It would be cool to see a mode where the onboard resampling spits out a WAV file to drop wherever.

Oh neat!! Thanks. I have only really played with this when myth came out and then for the past couple days. I must have missed that or maybe it's not working well on my DAW. That will be extremely useful on my weak little laptop.ChanceB wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2024 11:20 pmYou can. Is there any info on how long that resample "buffer" is?

If you click the 3 bars on the left side there's a manual that pops up. Great manual too BTW. (Also love the EULA. Short but to the point and didn't read like an attorney wrote it.)

It depends on the algorithm. The old one seems to have no limit, but the longer the sound the less precise the result. The new algorithm will resynthesize the first 20 seconds. I had some longer samples and made some time stretch to fit it into 20 sec…

I guess you are referring to the "buffer" that captures your last generated audio?
It starts when you play one or more notes and captures up to 30 seconds.
If you lift all the keys and then again play at least one note it starts again.

Thanks Peter!! I mostly am using it to make little chords and stuff as well as making some very bizarre drum patterns using the new resynthesis mode. It should be more than enough buffer and it's a damn fine feature, especially for weaker computer systems. I love building up crazy noises starting from the init patch.
